let me tell you a little story, take my hand and i will guide you on this story of death and destruction. anyways, when i was younger i would probably answer this question with a simple “oh yes gurl!” but i cant do that anymore. you see, i was raised around parents that constantly fought with each other, and because of that, was raised believing that love only existed in movies, video games and books. since i didn’t believe in love, i didn’t really believe in love at first sight. after i met my boyfriend and we started dating, love slowly fluttered back into my life one step at a time, but i don’t believe in love at first sight. sorry for dragging you along for an answer that could have been explained as “BITCH NO!”[break][break]

WHICH SUPER HERO DO YOU MOST IDENTIFY WITH?

so there are kind of two that i most identify with, one from the mcu and the other from dc. in the mcu, it would be wanda more commonly known as scarlet witch. the reason i saw wanda, is because when i first saw the movie that she appeared in first, i easily connected with her. my life was kind of depressing for a time, with so much death and strife within my family that i kind of built a wall around myself that was protected by my aggressive nature. i also kind of look up to her and her character development. now, in the dc world, mine would probably be diana prince or wonder woman, mostly because i lived in a naïve nature and slowly was introduced into the brutality of the world. i like to joke that i lived under a rock for my entire life and have just now been introduced to a lot of things i never would have been introduced to. literally, ask me anything and i’ve probably never seen nor heard of it. go on…ASK ME![break][break]

absolutely and positively the entire LOTR & hobbit series. i rarely find anyone that i can geek out over it with so i'm stuck watching the movies, reading the books, and crying over my belgian waffles. the works of j.r.r tolkien are, by far, some of the best i've ever had the pleasure to know about. plus, aragorn, legolas, thorin, hell even bilbo, frodo, sam, merry AND pippin (because i'm all of 3 feet tall)? - yes, hello? dear future husband? it's me, your wife.[break][break][break]

as a not so wise woman once sang: falling in love with love is falling for make believe. but in that same breath, an actually wise woman also sang about how impossible things were happening everyday. love at first sight is just one of those impossible things for me and i'm also looking out for the signs. if you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

i mean it depends on the category of food, what culture it's from, how healthy it is - probably just garlic bread. if it didn't affect me, i wouldn't smell like nothing but garlic, and i could afford to live such a life, i would eat nothing but garlic bread. or just bread in general. good bread. delicious bread.

07. describe the color red to a blind person.

ok so like ??? u know when things r loud and painfully so? that the colour of red. also the colour of stubbing your toe and breaking your nose and biting your tongue. it's also the colour of blood so think about when you rip a nail back too far and taste the iron at the back of your mouth; when you lose a tooth; when doctors and dentists over-estimate your gag reflex and you have to hold back from punching them while they shove shit down your throat.[break][break][break]

06. do you believe in love at first sight?

not in the romantic sense, no. but as far as aesthetics? as far as an artists point of view there are so many things you can fall in love with at first sight. cheesy as it is i fall in love with the sun every morning on the train to work when it's just rising and so bold and yellow like a big ol cheeto in the sky even when i'm blinking back the spots in my eyes because i'm an idiot that decided to stare at the hecking sun. i fall in love with tall ginger girls i'll see only once in my life, only in passing, because they're so beautiful and i wish i was capable of drawing and painting what i see in my mind. i fall in love with wispy clouds on the horizon as i walk to the train station from work, the sun beginning to set and painting them pink and yellow. but sometimes there are loves at first sight with things you already know too; a refreshing and startling laugh from a best friend, a surprisingly cute joke. it doesn't necessarily have to be the first time seeing them for it to be love at first sight, imo.[break][break][break]

08. if you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

this one feels kinda redundant to me since,,, as it is all i rly eat is carbohydrates a la nuggets and french fries sO. is it cheating to have chosen this question for that reason? oh well. gimme chicken n potatoes for eternity thx.[break][break][break]

hmmm probably the manga/anime no. 6 i guess??? id k like for me it just,, , has p much everything i could ask for except a happy ending LMAO. the manga definitely is more my style/has the plot flowing a bit better and an ending w a lil more sense but im a big sucker for colours and moving screens so im greedy for the anime as well. im planning to finally buy myself the manga volumes soon once i get the motivation to actually do anything ever so pls pray for small miracles. why does buying manga require so much more consideration than anime, why was it so easy for me to just drop like $300 all at once for anime dvds smh mie.[break][break][break]

02. you get to hang out with one person - real, fictional, alive, dead - for the day. who do you spend it with, and what do you do?

this one is embarrassingly easy to answer n i get to embarrass my significant other in the process sO ofc i had to save this question for last. answer is ofc to hang with my bf elgyem for the day bc the likelihood of this ever happening in real life is ridiculously slim n i hate that teleportation hasn't been invented yet and complain about this every day to the point where we have now started to discuss how crime rates would be affected if teleportation was brought in. but anywAY, what would i do damn uh,,, honestly i just picture us in bean bags or somewhere just rly lazy n comfortable n chill and just.... being able to hang. which is sad and embarrassing hi. Best color, go! Why is it the best color?

as of right now, my favorite color is probably #eaffec (edit: which i put in its respective color, but you can't read it orz), but as of about yesterday, it was probably something darker, like #4c1121! i'm a huge fan of several colors, and it's extremely hard to just stick to one, which means i flip-flop on the daily depending on how i feel! a color that i thought was absolutely gorgeous the day before might be kind of dull right now, and a color that i find really really gorgeous now may last days or weeks or months or maybe just an hour OTL

i think it's because colors just give me such strong impressions? for example, if i'm in a light, kind of really tethered-to-earth and extremely aware mood, i drift between lighter colors because darker colors sometimes feel stifling and sticky (?), whereas when i'm in a heavier (?) mood or have particularly lost in thought, i gravitate towards darker jewel tones - and of course, it's mixed w/connotations i have when it comes to certain colors (like b/w photos just giving me automatic feelings of professionalism / intimidating demeanor)!

overall, though, i have an innate fondness for varying shades of purple, from periwinkle to dark, dark shades that tip over into black, so i suppose my overall favorite color is purple?? that would have been much easier to say, but...listen, #eaffec. ~~the wannabe aesthetic JUMPED out~~ it's probably something that doesn't require so much thought, but it's just something that i do anyways![break][break][break]

not really, to be honest? i'm not the authority on love by any means - like, i'm probably the furthest thing from it - being a teenage girl who's literally never had a crush before and is experiencing all the other emotions that a human can possible dream of, but it's a no from me when it comes to the romantic sense (which i assume is what the question is asking!). most of the things that i would classify as love that i've experienced are either a) platonic/familial types of love and b) romantic love that's endured years and years.

yeah, but I also believe that it isn't necessary. I'm not going to tell someone their love isn't legitimate just because it's not how I've experienced it. But in the same vein, I don't think people should look or even wait for love at first sight, because they might be missing out on something too. I didn't find my second boyfriend physically attractive at first. But I gave him a chance because we seemed to have some similar interests, and he was kind and funny and checked all the other points I was looking for. It only took a few dates for me to totally fall for him. Seven years later, we're married and I think he's the most handsome guy out there, because I fell in love with him for him and not just the way he looked. Having a 'spark' with someone at first meeting them is great. But there's nothing wrong with a relationship or chemistry just because it isn't there right away. [break][break][break]

Anthony Bourdain. I think this answers the role model question too. I didn't really discover him until a couple years ago. I watched Parts Unknown on Netflix while I was in school for travel. He wasn't just another travel show guy; he was a passionate chef, which reminded me of my husband, hardworking, and saw a value in food. Not just good flavors and expensive ingredients, but everyday meals, home-cooked meals, etc. He was a representative for the little guy. Outspoken for the people who needed it the most. Funny, bitter, sarcastic, but passionate, empathetic, and approachable. People who didn't know him felt like they had. He felt like a friend, and those that met him have said the same, that he talked to everyone as if they'd known each other for years, that he was casual, genuinely interested in what you had to say, and humble. People who never met him felt like they knew him somehow, too. His quotes on travel are all over pinterest and tumblr, and maybe they're overused since he passed, but as someone who's traveled a lot and who wants to travel more, and as someone living away from home, his words mean a lot. I want to travel more genuinely, like he did. It's one thing to go to a country and take your pictures and leave. I've done that. But I want actual connections and beautiful moments and to meet people and learn things about them and how they live. I would want to hang out with Bourdain for a day. I'd show him my hometown and the mountains, 'cause I don't think he'd ever gone, and he would have loved it. [break][break][break]

which super hero do you most identify with?

Replacing super hero with character in general just because I’m less familiar with superheroes. The answer here for me is Yang Xiao Long from RWBY, because her whole deal is she wanted to travel the world and have cool adventures. She has her job saving the world as a means to the end of having cool adventures and seeing new places, and honestly I feel that. The line of work I’m taking a break to go back to school from is disaster relief, and much like her I really enjoy the fact that I get to help people when I do it. What I really want, though, are cool adventures and helping people out is just the bonus.

grey. it's a neutral and balanced colour both symbolically and in design. i actually like almost every colour there is! but whenever i get asked this question, i always fall to "off-white" or grey. it works for almost everything and it associates with a complex nature. if you're asking me for a list of colours though? good luck not having me list every single one. do you believe in love at first sight?

absolutely - but not the way everyone views it. i think it's entirely possible to 'fall' for someone as a social attraction but it's really just infatuation. it's that feeling everyone gets when they first begin to like someone and they ignore all the flaws. whether or not that develops into something serious depends on whether or not you can accept that person for their flaws and wake up every morning willing to love them. i don't think a lot of people actually have love.[break][break][break]

who do you look up to as a role model?

oh boy, this is convenient! it's actually one of the few things that i'm very public about. i look up to xxxtentacion as a role model and use him as my graphics on a lot of the rp-side of social media. i've had plenty of people come up to me with negative opinions of him, going as far as to dehumanize me for liking him and i think that's honestly part of what makes it all the more worth it. xxxtentacion was a lost soul for a long portion of his life. it's not my room to go into his whole history growing up but he lived a life of chaos and hatred for the world because of it. he acted out of hurt and as a human being, if you step away and look into it, you'll understand just a bit more on where he's coming from.

i'm not saying he's right at all for what he did. what i am supporting is the fact that he was changing and becoming an amazing person. only 20 years old, he spent the last two years of his life influencing young minds and peers around him to become better, using his growth to maturity as a guide. he helped thousands of kids, even more teens and helped me most of all when it came to this. he had a lot of knowledge he gained and was turning extremely positive. he had love for the world at the end and knew that he lived his life wrong at first - he was trying, and did change. i laugh at those who mock him and me for liking him - because these are the people that need a reality check. especially when they present to me uninformed, incorrect and hypocritical nonsense. nobody's perfect, but how they improve speaks louder than words.

so yeah! xxx made my life a shit ton more positive and i aspire to reach the level of knowledge and influence he had on those around him.

Why does the first question have to hurt my brain so much...this isn't good... I was trying to decide between my Top Two Anime Husbands (Chrom and Link uvu thank you), although I realized that we couldn't do much in only a day, so... I'd have to go with InuYasha. For some reason I never found him particularly attractive, but I love his character so much, and have spent so much of my years as a young teen analyzing and obsessing over him, that I would just love to do something energetic and fun with him. Something like laser-tag or swimming because he'd be hilarious to see doing those things, lol.

The SOFTEST PASTEL PINK EVER. Okay, like, my favorite color is this impossible shade of light, light, light pale aqua blue, but the pink that's right on the red of the color wheel, then you add just slight saturation and make it lighter, then that crud's the actual bomb. It looks great on everything, and especially on me. Thanks. ~~I mean, I don't know if it does, it just gives me a spark of happiness when I see it, okay lol~~

08. if you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Ugh...UGH....this one hurts me, deeply. I'm a picky eater, but even I need a good variety of foods just to survive. I'll have to go with noodles - my favorite food, of course, so that's a bonus, BUT there are so many ways to make noodles that the possibilities are endless. You could have breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert JUST from these delightful weirdly-shaped pieces of boiled dough, and they even have healthy kinds, too. I just can't decide my favorite though... both chicken Alfredo and Spaghetti are tied in taste, but then again, you can't go wrong with garlic-y stuffed pasta or creamy Mac 'n Cheese with four-million kinds of cheeses. Or a mean noodle soup. Or ramen. Or straight from the pot, boiled and heavily salted. 10/10. Did I also mention how much I love sea salt? Because I eat that straight, it's actually the best.

.09 who do you look up to as a role model?

I used to not really have that many role models (I wasn't bad, just didn't appreciate people as deeply xD) but in recent years I've gained a lot. I don't just have one favorite, though; I adore the detail, love, and care put into artistic works, so Hayao Miyazaki and Lin-Manuel Miranda are my biggest inspirations there, and they're also the sweetest and most hard-working people ever. For just being extremely talented, kind, and genuinely good people, Marie Kondo and Gordon Ramsey (he has made me cry, okay) are probably my biggest role models. Other than that, I strive to be more like my friends and my parents, who are constantly happy, positive, smart-thinking, and just feel-good to be around.[break][break][break]

13. what's something you think is horribly underappreciated?

RPing, in general. I know it's ironic since this is...literally, a roleplayer community, but outside of it I haven't personally met anyone who does RP (that I haven't shown them/told them about) and it makes me feel sad. People take it either as the stereotypical D&D nerd (not saying they're bad, obviously, but you feel me?) or the...really explicit *ahem* 'adult' side of it. RPing is such an amazing platform for writers, especially writers who can't practice much because of a lack of motivation/experience, and you can make great relationships easily as well. I just wish the RP community could be bigger, and certainly more advertised to outsiders. :c[break][break][break]
