i don't think well-written women are all that rare in works that are actually well-written.

sometimes i wonder if bad female characters are more a symptom of bad writing, period, because i can't think of a single series with badly written women that i would consider well-written otherwise.

maybe wallace being my fav was foreshadowing


on a steven/wallace brainrot about how steven has such an ego and wallace is always subtly giving him the ego check (and is the only one that can get away with it).

yet he also gives steven the due credit that he deserves especially when he's wavering

tho for real this one scene captures so much of his personality and dynamic (and how much he knows steven) and continues to get away with however he wants to treat him

oh, i leave quite an impression; five feet, to be exact.
finally finished my first playthrough of bg3, streamed the finale with my rl friends, and i do love how damn near immediately one of them went "if i play this game, im romancing her" upon seeing karlach's ending
