The title, basically. If I'm to be honest, I've probably asked this before.
Do I just get a forum from Proboards and Jcink, check interest and look for staff, maybe a skin? I'm kinda daunted. |

you basically nailed it!it kind of is a daunting process, though, especially depending on what sort of role play you're aiming to make. you have to write up settings, groups, create any systems your site might use (stats or currency as the most basic) and decide if they're effective for members.
ideally, you want to host monthly events to help maintain interest and encourage activity with members and that, to me, is one of the hardest parts of running a site.
i realize this is probably not the most encouraging thing to read but!! you should definitely try to make a site and run it because it IS a rewarding process and it gets a lot easier with experience. and there's not really anyone who can make the ideal site you want except for you, right?

i'll probably have fun with writing setting info, hahaha... although i don't know how long i'll take XD systems and groups might be tricky... and the monthly events are something I've never even thought about. merp.
honestly though, I'm pretty daunted already so this doesn't really make my daunted status any more daunted... if that makes sense. my problem now though is to go with it even if i might not have time if i'm also going to be looking/getting a job soon, and just what sort of RP it would be... although that would be a different topic altogether.
