Don't depend on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you're in the dark

I have and always had too much free time on my hands, so I usually post to someone within an hour or two. if I have something to do during the day, then they would get a post from me before the day ends. I consider same day posts hella fast, but honestly if someone posts to me a week afterwards, or a month after, that's completely okay with me, i don't necessarily consider it slow, not about calling people slow posters or anything. I'm just a ninja with a ton of muse that I honestly don't know where it comes from.
and sometimes my partners feel obligated to post to me as quick as they can but I'm like NO D< cause you guys have lives and I don't so don't think about me lol
but rapidfire with me, and it's on. always ready for rapidfire, i will intentionally ignore everyone in my house and tell them to go away or else they will feel my wrath, to rapidfire.

I post somewhere between 6 - 16 posts a day thanks to the whole world being crazy. Before it was just 6 posts where I'd spend the end of my day after dinner catching up on things over various sites. With way more free time, I post between family time. I enjoy rapid fire with some people though it's not something that happens often. For the most part, I don't make anyone wait longer than 24hrs. I doubt I'm considered fast since there are a lot of people I post with who will have a reply within 10 - 30 minutes and I can't match that speed but for the most part, I try not to overwhelm those slower than me by giving them a few days if they take like a week per reply since I know how frustrating getting a post out then immediately needing to reply can be. And those who don't have threads with any other person but be because they don't do liquid time, I reply instantly so they always have something to do.

As long as you have a willing thread partner, you can rapid fire through thread/s and get them all done as quickly as possible! That goes to say if your thread partner is willing to post quickly, too. Getting the replies back as soon as you get them up feels refreshing and rewarding, more threads done = more plot bunnies
Am I right?

(muffled chanting) feast or famine feast or famine feast or famine
on god though just like...roll a d20 and each of those numbers will correspond to a different posting speed lmaO im dying. sometimes im pewpewpew sometimes im "are u like...alive". i usually consider getting a post out within 24 hours of a reply as "pewpewpew", and i can't rapid fire to save my life. generally two weeks is my "write this reply as soon as you can get a chance" cutoff, and 1 month is the "WRITE IT RIGHT NOW OH GOD THEY'RE GONNA BE SO MAD" mark.
i usually can't write more than 5 posts in one sitting, and usually sit to write posts 1-3 times a week just to put some numbers out there but hahahahaha who knows man
i also don't really have to deal with the whole "low muse" thing a lotta people mention for me? it's mostly just motivation and actually getting myself to actually open up the rp replies google do and get crackin' at it

Honestly depends on my sleep schedule: if its good its like once every 2-3 days ill get most if not all replies out of the way. If my schedule is bad every post gets done within like 24hours, id even say 12hours because of covid currently due to having no work etc lol.

my own posting speed is inconsistent as heeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, if only because it's dependent on several factors: 1) my muse for a character, 2) my general mood, and 3) the nature of a thread. for some threads, i'll admit that i absolutely rapidfire (like. i'll shell out a reply in less than half an hour after being tagged) if i'm really hyped for the thread, or if i'm biased towards the dynamic and pair being rp-ed.
BUT the moment i start writing i tend to be physically / mentally unable to stop until i tick off a lot of threads that fit a certain category. (ex. i'll decide to post for all my plot-heavy threads, so i churn out like 5-6 posts in one sitting. then the next day, i think i'd rather post only for a certain character of mine, so i'll do 3-4 in one sitting.) but generally speaking, as much as possible, i go for posting 3-4 times a week. sometimes i'll post everyday, solid. other times, lmao. well.
i consider fast posting to be rapidfire or within a 24-hour timeframe. 2-4 days is average, whereas more than a week while the other person is faster in other threads would be slow for me. but really, idgaf unless the thread is super important to a bigger plot, affects more people than just my characters and theirs, or is time-sensitive.
