With that self-promo out of the way, hey hello hi it's koji coming at you with a new project. BURN THE SOUL (also known as BTS or B#RN) is an animanga magic-based roleplay that takes place in New Paris (shout out to Halation) within the year of 2070. Members will be allowed to create characters known as "Vessels". Vessels are humans who have become the host of spirits from times past with expanded lore surrounding their existence (King Arthur, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Cleopatra, etc.) and use magic that attributes to that spirit. Here is a small exert from the plot synopsis.

Alongside boasting both PVP and PVE potential, B#RN will have two monthly events going each month. One will be a more combat-focused event. Which could range from bashing monsters in hordes to a search and destroy of a large nuisance within New Paris. The other will be a more lax prompt. Catering to those who want to take things at a slower pace.

There will be a loose leveling and spell/ability system. Vessels and spells will follow the D - SS Ranking system. D being the lowest, SS being the highest. A simple and very easy to understand system with an included guide for good measure. At B Rank Vessels gain access to their first Tiro Finale (think Noble Phantasm if you're familiar with the Type-Moon Fate/ franchise), an ultimate attack that can cause devastating effects! Vessels will also align themselves with a Guild. Think of it as an umbrella term for a faction. There are two Guilds for vessels to align themselves to, Eden and Genesis.

Please note that just because your vessel is under the alignment of that guild, they are not obligated to follow the guilds mantra and mission statement to the letter.

In regards to gaining stronger abilities, spells, and ranking up; there is a shop system in place. You gain gems and trade them in for wares that the shop offers. The shop itself will have seasonal items as well as chance items. Certain purchasable items carry varying rarities and use Icly. So be sure to stock up when you get the chance.

Gems can be earned by posting. There is also the Mission system. Members can participate in story-based missions to earn some extra gems here and there, as well as creating their own. Don't worry, there's a guide for this too. I gotchu' fam. In tandem with the mission system, we have implemented a Beast Roll system courtesy of nox, the HR department and his efforts (A HUGE help thank you lawd). Allowing members to generate random creature encounters within their threads and missions!
