In court, he is accompanied by his bosom hawk, creatively named, Taka. Because of his samurai honour shtick, he spent seven years in prison on the death row for a crime he didn’t commit to protect his mentor-slash-master’s greatest treasure, her daughter—Athena Cykes. So he’s a bit grumpy—nearly getting executed after seven years to stew over who truly killed his mentor will do that to you. He is best known for his games of Simon says, where through the power of suggestion that he learned from his mentor, Dr. Metis Cykes, he can intuit people’s psyches and exploit them for his benefit. Mostly used to mess with the defense or avoiding the mundanes and courtroom procedures that he doesn’t like (e.g., getting the judge to do the prosecutor’s opening statement every single damn time to the defense’s chagrin.) Funny, however, he doesn’t seem to appreciate it when other people trick him.
