Have learned that there is a big difference between 'sketch' and 'sketch style'. The latter is an exercise in lots of effort to make something look like it took less effort than it did.

I feel lied to.

Day 89

It's been a while but I've been working on things. Mostly trying to figure out a style, try different things.
After a lot of experimentation I seem to prefer thicc lines, ink or cell-shaded works. Painterly ain't my speed...

Another thing I've been looking at is avoiding same-face syndrome. Triangle Strategy has been a really good study on how to make different faces and ages while staying anime - Rudolph is one of the best hawk-faced characters I've seen. Great game btw.

So anyway, here's a pretty boy OC that looks like every other pretty anime boy.
