what is preluding lights?


We are an OC-only Arknights roleplay on JCINK PREMIUM set in an alternate timeline where Rhodes Island failed to stop the war between Ursus and Yan from starting.

Although we primarily focus on Arknights and its story, we strive to be an open and welcoming community to all sorts of people. This means that everyone is welcome, even if you do not play Arknights! We are also a site that's plot is member-driven, meaning your character's actions have every bit of importance in the plot. You know what they say about the ripple effect, right?

what we're looking for


We are searching for someone, or potentially two people, who are willing to help staff our site. When we say 'staff', we mean people who are willing to take on administrative duties alongside our already existing staff.

As a member of the PL staff team, you would be responsible to help with:

  • Addressing the concerns and questions of our member base
  • Character review and acceptance
  • Affiliate and advertising
  • Archiving threads and accounts when necessary
  • Organizing events, both IC and OOC, with other staff members
  • Helping with moderation for our discord server

Experience is not required to become a staff member of PL, we just ask that you are enthusiastic and help the site flourish as much as possible. If you are willing to put in the time, we are willing to teach you how to use JCINK and how to do staffly duties.

Familiarity with the lore of Arknights is appreciated but not required. We have written entire pages worth of information to help you digest the lore without playing the game.
