hey guys im back with my dumb and silly ideas and proposal, but since i find this one to be particularly beneficial to us as community, im gonna share it anyways. MYANIMANGALIST is inspired by anime directory sites such as myanimelist. The objective is to have an efficient index for all the active animanga sites. Thus, I made a prototype site that has the following function: a) a sorting system that will automatically flash the site in a certain genre. b) a thread that is dedicated solely for the site with a post template that would be filled with site information. I have various other ideas like updates using wanted ads and events. etc etc. ANYWAYS, here is the prototype site. Hot damn that's neat as fuck. Uh. idk what else to say at this point besides 'neat' but I will be here to try and help however I can in the future? I do really look forward to a more streamlined way of going through wanted ads, even if it just links to a more filled out thread on another website.

ty ty guys ✦ MAD yes this would need a team, moreover, an experienced one, too. Im rather inexperience at these things. Im willing to let a more qualified person to handle the team! I do have quite a lot of ideas so i can help with that & coding. |

+ im thinking of utilizing "track this topic" option so that the user would be alerted when the site they eye on have updates.
+ that said, updates dont have time requirements, but i guess it's better if only wanted ads and event updates are allowed.

With how the filtering and layout is going to be sit up, what is the benefit to bumping threads? I'm chill with pure bump posts to show you're alive, not every post has to be a big world shattering event. But also it'd be swell to know that seeing that little +1 post or notification means something new.
Are other people going to be able to post in threads? How about guest posting, for questions about the site or want ads or a quick 'hey your link if broken'? Or even a person from the site coming over themselves to post their new wanted ad!

tiefling i think the benefit of bumping is for the staff to know if the site is still active. Since inactive sites would be immediately put down on the index. That way, the staff wont have to monthly/weekly visiting site for activity check. It's better if it's a system wherein the staff wouldnt have to worry about anything besides adding in new directories/removing inactives. Since im assuming that the staff will also have sites beside this one. questions about the site wont be handled on-site and pm system wont be allowed. it's pretty much just an active list of directory where admins can list their sites, give updates on what's going on etc etc. members are allowed to post a wanted ad on-site. this will have a template of its own and it will be posted on the directory page of the site they are a member of. Im not sure about guest-posting and im not really fond of it. my ideas are still immature and flawed so yea it's good if this got a lot of response & suggestions. things can change still. edited

I really like the design and think this is a neat idea /unconstructive comment
Edit: I don't mind helping out if you need helpers would give me something to do. I don't have resource forum staff experience, but if you tell me how to do the mechanics of XYZ, I think I could figure it out/learn from there. If I didn't do a sufficient job, could always boot me from the team, I don't mind. xD

this is such a cute (and well-designed) idea von!! ♥ i think maintaining it might get a bit cumbersome (as all things are), but i'm in support of this esp. since there would be a team behind it. gl with your prelims reviews. \o/

thank you guys for the responses. ill try working on this further and see if this can be plausible. im quite inexperience with handling directories so I would really appreciate if someone is willing to help/give pointers etc.
if someone also have additional/another idea, sharing is caring x))) since everything onskin is kinda scratchand im not quite sure if this will hit the shelves
