Bump!

Okay double post? This is happening regardless of literally anything because I am PASSIONATE about this idea and have been for a very long time, but Gravity Falls roleplay? It's going to have canon characters but diverge from the series plot, I've been thinking about what I want to do with the story for it for a while.

At it's core it's going to be a supernatural roleplay with illustrated and optional face claims, Set about 10 years after the series. The canon characters wont have a heavy hand in the site and it's largely going to be a slice of life monster of the week kind of thing, consider all the non-plot heavy episodes when you think about the tone. It's meant to be light hearted with just that right kiss of gravity falls darkness.

I just love the series and setting and have been dying to make a site for it ever since the one I was attempting to help open keeled over?

As I said even though I AM going to have canons on site, it's not going to be designed to focus on them, I really wanna see what weird ass OCs people could bring into this setting!

I mean y'all coulda just told me you didn't want to play games with me, but instead you just ignored me asking and hopped into a game with each other that I can't play. That's cool. Dang I love my friends. God I wish I wasn't so fucking lonely.

I've got a couple of characters kind of rattling around in my head that I wouldn't mind playing? Both of them are gonna be hard to find a site for but if I don't try I never know!

First and probably most of all I'd kind of like to find a site to play Dipper Pines on? Or a character pretty based off Dipper. He's probably be at least aged to 16? ANYWAY, I'd love to find a panfandom to throw him into OR alternatively, an appropriately weird site where I could potentially make a character based off of him? Hell I'd even take a RL face claim site if you'd allow me to do that! Ideally a panfandom would be cool because I'd love to play him as is, but I'm open!

Second I'd kind of like to play Allister from Pokemon Shield? Same applies as above where I'm open to other ideas! And there's a much smaller itch to write this one than the other, but I figure I would throw him out there!

- Lower rating, I wouldn't be participating in anything spicy anyway obviously
- relaxed activity and word count rules
- Friendly and chatty community? Also would be nice to not be that newbie who gets essentially ignored? I'd like to engage with people and actively plot and chat!
- If panfandom, I'd really like to not be the only person there not playing an anime character, just for my own comfort!

I want to play Allister from Pokemon Shield somewhere, he's such a dear sweet character and also a MOOD because I am also terrified of human interaction.

Lets game it out was the inspiration I was going to take for my first character based off the line that suggest that one doesn't need food service experience to be hired at this place. When I say I've been dying for a place lighthearted enough to play a chef like this jkglhdfkjgsh.

I'm moderately paced when it comes to posting but I am so enamored with this concept lol, something lighthearted and silly just sounds like what the RP scene needs right now!

I agree with Mads in that a made-up place would be really fun, even if it takes place in a real life place maybe it's a made-up town in said real place? Then you get the setting vibes while also having wiggle room! ^^

Man names though, I feel like a good cute pun name for the quirky place?

Then the fancy place needs something that sounds decadent LOL, I'll have to think on it! But I'm really excited!

A Beatrix Potter style roleplay with incredibly cute forest animals living in tree homes and wearing little clothes, but with a sinister and dark edge? Maybe hunters, maybe predators lurk in the forest, there's just this unsettling undertone beneath the everything is fine facade where they all know everything isn't fine but don't want to say it.

Making a mental note to pop into the discord because I'm hella interested in this!
