Stuck between a rock and a hard place. And my mom's feeling it even worse.

My tortie had a cancerous lump removed on her leg a few years ago. At the time, the vet said there was a 50% chance of it coming back, and if we didn't remove her leg, she'd only have 6 months to live. Well, the lump did come back, but after 2 years... Way longer than the vet said...

So I am hoping she beats her odds... Again... The lump has come back but it has tripled in size in just a month. Went from a lima bean to a golf ball...

I am kind of mad at my mom for saying she isn't going to try to do anything. I understand that money is tight, and maybe even if her leg is removed and she goes through chemo, she could still pass away... So I'm just sad. Sad at any outcome.

Someone come pack for me pls... I really don't want to do it. T_T

When I legitimately want advice and feedback about things but people just dip and leave with nothing to say. I understand no one owes me anything at all, and if the site isn't their cup of tea anymore, that's fine. But how can I make things better for future members or even ones that stick around if I don't know what the faults are?

I forgot how tough it is to be an admin, a main admin, a leader... xD

I don't have a shop but I do like making graphics and such... If you need something, PM me and I'll see what I can do? ^^;

Okay but like-- I've had a site like this as a WIP for a very long time now. I just keep getting ideas for it, then redoing it, then the people I ask to help me bail and I definitely can't take this task by myself. xD But, a third time's a charm?

I mean, if anyone is even interested in my version of this sort of thing.

I can link to the previous interest checks I've made for it, but the TLDR of it is this:

A mix of Explorers, XIV and Crystal Chronicles. It is about exploring a newly found land. There are large crystals, Grand Crystals, that protect the world from a terrible and deadly miasma. There is one Grand Crystal but it's power is waning (due to people utilizing it as a power source as well). Their goal is to explore the new continent for another Grand Crystal...

Cue boss battles and territory skirmishes. Any FF class is allowed. Members can make their own special Limit Breaks and join Free Companies if they don't want to work for the governing entities.

But, yeah. That is the jist of what I've made. It is jcink, and the only thing is I kind of want to tweak the skin bc it is not exact what I want... So that is the only thing holding me back.

If anyone would like to help make this a reality, FINALLY, just let me know. XD I've still got my Discord server and everything.

Reading that "Why I Left" thread just makes me paranoid to even have a site or make a new one. I understand not everyone gets along with everyone but the fact that people leave sites and usually don't say why... I could be doing some of these things. And I'd never know. Thus repeating the issues for the future, and any future project I open or have would have that stigma followed with it.

RP is such a fickle thing. I love it a lot but sometimes it is just stressful, and that shouldn't happen in a hobby meant for relaxing. At least that's why I do it... But now it just makes me scared of what people think of me, and I know I probably shouldn't care as much as I do but if I'm in a position of leadership, I gotta at least care a little. lol.

Feeling kinda worn out... It really sucks when I make what I think is a unique, fun event but no one... Does anything...

Was it hard to understand? Was I wrong about it being neat? Idk...

I didn't expect the site and discord to blow up like it did! While I am super grateful, I am also overwhelmed lol. I feel like I'll never catch up with plots and I am always doing something staff-related. Oh well, as long as people are having fun!

I am so in love with freeform apps right now tbh. I love seeing how creative people can get. But also they're so easy to read through. It could just be the current genre of my site, though.

However I hope I work the kinks out with this "auto sorting" thing I'm trying to do. XD Jcink has some cool features in the shop section but it has been a bit of trial and error.

I hope it is worth the headache and embarrassment lol!!
