i stopped feeling my previous alias so

since i love norse mythology a lot, i went hunting through it for an alias related to it. after some musing, i ended up going with valka.

valka is a short form of the name valgerðr; val- means "the dead on a battlefield", and -gerðr means "enclosure"/"protection" so, i've taken it to mean something like protector of the slain; plus, it's similar to valkyrie, so |D

tbh i would've changed my alias to nyx since i've always loved the night, but it's overused...

  • if people keep mentioning their app is finished, i'll make you wait longer bc i don't appreciate being rushed.
  • i hate it when people say "just waiting for my character to get accepted" like - you might get pended. don't assume you're gonna be accepted, pls. say 'to be reviewed' or smth instead.
  • in general i hate doing pends because either i feel bad about doing it, or there's just so much wrong with the app that i just don't wanna deal with it OTL
  • if the stuff that's wrong with your app (ie you didn't put the member group in the coding to change the colours, you didn't remove placeholder text), i'll go in and fix it myself, since it's annoying to be pended over such a little thing like that when the rest of your app is fine!
  • i'm terrible and take far too long to update the job claim. once i realised i hadn't updated it in like, three months. #oops
  • i'm terrible at responding to hiatuses to let the person know i've seen it ;__; i wish jcink had likes.
  • i'm terrible at link backs and apparently i haven't done them since the end of april... i should probably go do that.

It just started to happen to me today. If you haven't been able to access your cbox in so long, you really should have contacted support. XD; Especially considering you most likely pay for it.



naaaaaaah we don't pay for our cboxes. we're on the free version for both the chat cbox and tag cbox. but it's still super annoying.

plus it's like... it's not an issue with the cbox itself?? other people on my site can use the cbox, but then there are some of us who can't post in it at all. it's weird.

probably should contact cbox tho and be like "fix it."
