hi everyone! we would appreciate it if you would take the time to read this announcement as it is very important to pixel perfect.

we've been open for a week now, and already a case on plagiarism in the community has cropped up. though this has been handled by staff, we would like to remind everyone about pixel perfect's rules and discussion etiquette when it comes to behaviour.

in the case of plagiarism and theft, we would like these cases to remain private and between only the affected parties and staff. so, please, do not act in haste and take it upon yourself to create a call out post or thread. bring the case up to staff in private, whether to one of us or all of us, and we will handle it from there. if you ever need advice on how to handle a potential case, staff are also here to help guide you.

on pixel perfect, we will not tolerate call out posts of any sort. we want to cultivate a positive community. call out posts do exactly the opposite of that, especially when misinformation is being spread. they encourage bandwagoning and attacks - neither of which are the best ways to resolve a situation.

for those of you that are aware of the situation that led to this announcement, the situation has been handled and no further action will be taken. we request that everything be left where they are, as well as to not see the people involved in a worse light than you did before.
