As the title says: list five things you love about RP. You can articulate your points as to why you love them, or keep 'em short and sweet.
I'll start:
1.) Community - I like the sense of a community RP has. Lots of people, lots of backgrounds. Get to meet and befriend all sortsuv people.
2.) It feeds stimulates my brain feeed meee, Seymooour
3.) Reading my partners' posts - it's like... the ultimate reward. *w* ♪
4.) Exploring new worlds through other perspectives - much like reading a book
5.) The challenge - be it making a new site, coming up with new ideas, and/or putting in little self-challenges to make one better at writing, the challenge is really satisfying sometimes.

1.) Creativity - I love making my own characters and bring them to life in an interesting setting 2.) I often can't do story writing on my own, so having partners help me a lot be creative in a writing sense. 3.) I love the excuse to use my art brain on coding and graphics and it not be a waste. 4.) The excitement, the fun, and the feels of a really, really good plot. Especially if my partner is excited as I am! 5.) Groups like family, while super rare, a community that brings you in super close and let you just lets you live around them with this hobby makes the hobby that more relaxing and enjoyable.

1). The character creation. I suck sooo much at coming up with characters backgrounds/histories. But I love coming across a face claim and going all like "Yup. Making you a character." but most of the time I lack a place and setting to use said face claim and dont even have a idea to use with it.
2). The personal character side plots. If a group/setting has no real plot and lets it be member driven plots (like I have set up with my own site) Its a great way to come up with stories and rope other characters into it be it another persons or even NPC's
3). Feels and IC drama. Personally for me. I love the fact you can get so deep with the feels and in character drama and crap you can get into with characters. If i am able to message you between posts and go "Dammit the feels!" Or "Hurts so good!" or something. You know I am enjoying it
4). World building. With my partner, we're in the works of building 2 great rp worlds. One being my current forum rp and another on some other rp chat site. World building is great.... even if I struggle a lot on coming up with ideas and making it seem like one-sided. I do my best.
5). Character growth and development. When it comes to my own characters, I love putting them through all sorts of crap and learning about them as rp goes, as the plot demands. Because more than once, my characters actions have even surprised me when I realize what im typing.
...yea I know you said short. I got carried away. oops!

1) Threading with people - RPing is such an interesting concept to me? Like you're, in effect, making a story with someone else. Like a story that sometimes nobody knows where it's heading. Idk why I find it such a cool thing? Like you're working with someone else to create something beautiful you'd never be able to do on your own. 2) Living vicariously through characters - Like I as a person am not the most adventurous out there. I've never been in a relationship nor have I really done many interesting things. So to put my characters in different experiences helps me to understand the world around me, maybe not perfectly, but to an extent. It's fun to live a life I'd never be able to on my own.
3) Drama - I admit it. I'm one of those people that like putting my characters and ships through difficult situations. It helps me to understand more about my characters and make them real. I learn their faults and strengths. They eventually become more and more real to me which is really fun.
4) Creativity - RP forces me to be creative and figure out how my characters will respond in different situations as well as different environments. There are so many different genres of RP out there like superheroes or fantasy and it's like... I want to see how my characters will react in each one.
5) Plot Partners - I like learning a lot about my RP partners through RP. Like the way they write and the way they make their characters react shows a lot about them, what they value, and things of the sort. Sometimes RP is like getting a glimpse into two people's minds, that of the character and the RPer. It's interesting to see what I can find.

1) the people in general. I've met some of my best friends through rp and I haven't even met them irl.
2) agnst. Drama. Projecting my own rl drama onto my characters. Also the reaction those decisions get makes my day.
3) improving. The ability to improve my writing by rping with people who appear to be better. I love taking notes on other people's posts and trying to improve from that.
4) variety. Each site is different with cincepts and settings so if you have that one character you always play? Adapting then to new settings is always so rewarding I love it.
5) replies. Either when I'm replying or someone else is I always feel grateful because some member of the party is gonna be getting a present I love it!

1) the creativity, while trends are still a thing and can stifle it (at least to me) there's still a lot of creative gems in this community that are worthy of note. 2) the people, which i don't consider quite the same as community as a whole. There are certain people here that you just know from this place or that and it's never a bad thing to see them again, they just make it worthwhile to stick around 3) the stories, as someone who finds story telling to be one of her favorite things the sheer amount of in rp and out of rp stories to be exposed to through rp and rp communities is so phenomenal. 4) The variety of characters and ideas, though again trends happen and can smother this part a little bit you still see little offshoots in the outer rim of the box that are just something special 5) the writing, the opportunity to write.

- Character creation
- World building
- Getting to know my character and others through character interactions.
- Talking about characters with others and planning how they would interact with each other and react to silly things.
- Seeing familiar faces in other forums. <3 Continued interactions with others and sharing what we love just brings a smile to my face.
