perhaps i am faint glimmer —
so if i'm understanding what you want correctly, you want the colours of a person's template to match with the colour of their group without having to manually edit the template yeah?

(if i'm not, just let me know so i can yeet this post out of existence)

go to layout templates > thread > post list and find the line of code where the message class is. add $[post.created_by.group.name] after it so it looks like this:

<div class="message $[post.created_by.group.name]">$[post.message]</div>


go to your style sheets and add classes for everything you want to have this member group colour by using a class name that looks like this:

.message.group-name h1 {
color: #00ff00;
}


"group-name" is case sensitive, "h1" can just be whatever class you want to colour change. the important thing here is that you don't have any spaces between .message and .group-name

i tested it out here

rec me all your horror podcasts, i have a mighty need.

here are some recs for u:

within the wires: they present a surprising lot of story and world building for the mediums they choose.

a scottish podcast: i've only started listening to this, but it's a parody of the documentary type podcasts like limetown and the black tapes and it's hilarious

station blue: psychological... horror? idk it was wild

the magnus archives: cosmic horror & my current favourite. lots of lore, lots of nasty, gross, disgusting gore. wouldn't recommend listening to it while eating, or if you can't handle lots of bugs or trypophobia

your css was repeated for some reason, so i deleted about half of it. i hope i didn't delete anything essential to your design,,,

having a wrapper with a set width around your entire template will help keep it aligned when you center it. the middle parts are squished like that because you positioned them with margins. in general, you want to avoid positioning things with margins if you can help it, because why estimate everything right down to the exact pixel when you can just let the computer do it all for you? because of that, i deleted all your margins and put the middle part of your template (the left sidebar and the content stuff next to it) inside a table.
