i feel like sometimes authors have a favorite word, and it shows. Even dozens of pages apart and across different books, when it's an uncommonly used enough that it actually leaves an impression every time they use it again

every time I go for groceries I debate and then decide against buying juice, and then every night until the next trip I wish I had some juice in the house

The conundrum of liking bits of a song and not caring for other parts, but not disliking it enough to remove it entirely from your library, so whenever it comes on you just let it play in a state of "hm", squinting

Really want to delete this one email account that I've basically deprecated and which only ever gets junk mail, but I've never nuked an email before...seems so final, and what if something important actually gets sent

Orange sun, very pretty. And scary, for there to be so much smoke there's visible haze on the opposite coast. G'luck out there, western folks.
