so i essentially replaced forum roleplaying with d&d, but now its been months since i played dnd and my brain is like "...roleplay... roleplay u must...." but i haven't REALLY been active on one in years and it's just so... so very intimidating

this also astounds me. the length of time people can be upset about something is just wild. it's sounds so tiring to be actively upset about things? like why would they care so much about that??? it makes me tired to even just think about.

i got into a fight with one of my girlfriends a few months ago and it ended with her blocking me on *everything* and like... the fight was not that intense?? it wasn't a big deal thing and was about stuff not important at all? our mutuals kept acting like they had to tiptoe around me because they assumed i was still super upset at everything. i had to actively let everyone know that like, "i'm not mad?? we had a fight, the fight's over. that's the end of it? why would i be mad 2 months later?" because apparently, she's still mad?? that's why. there's also this other girl i still have some mutual friends with and they can't mention mine or [fiance]'s name without her losing her shit over things that happened four years ago. like that cannot be good for your mental health. people need to breathe and let shit go
