Honestly, it wasn't too bad of a hospital trip besides one nurse being a complete little weirdo after stabbing me with a needle and stood like he was god and deserved praise and let's be real I thought they had given me something - cause he was wild. Hilarious, honestly.

In other news, my cats welcomed me home immediately and gosh darn it they're hot little fur heaters and it's 100 degrees in this place.

Unless you feed me your chicken parm for like a whole month. Cause that was *really* good.

Today wasn't too bad for one of my birthdays. Nothing's on fire - and now there's a two foot pikachu plush that's going to stare at me from the couch forever.

Staffing wise, I don't think it's really my job to say what someone can or can't handle character wise. It's not my job, it's not my problem, it's not really a issue for me. If there's a canon group or a plot-sensitive group, I made that clear up front what was expected of someone. If they can handle it, that's great. If they can't, they can't. All that matters to me is if they're trying or not. Considering I wrote all the lore, I think it's only expected of me to read what people write if I want them to read my lore. Again, personal view only since I understand why people have caps and things like that, it's just not how I would run a site.

Personally, I have 80+ characters all the time. Am I active on every single one all the time? No, but I tend to have plots running with all of them and since I'm chill with people - they usually respond to me last or whatever. No big deal, I write character apps fast and just wait for everyone to join in. I like having a cast of characters who shape the world and that's that.

As for my confession, I really do wish a lot of plot pages, character apps, etc introduced more plot hooks to draw on since I'm unoriginal and I have no idea if someone likes meet and greets or wants me to kool-aid man my way through their wall.

I wish I could just enjoy a song I like over time, not "okay now let's listen to it 50 times in a row"

I really do love this old boomer friend I have - she's self proclaimed at this point - but I was explaining her about grid, flex, and all the things I used and the fact that she tries to understand makes me stupidly emotional and I hate it. We played around with pasta boxes on her table while I explained it to her and her nephew. Just bless them.

When you're teaching a 60+ year old and a 12 year old using the same curriculum and it works and I don't know if that says more about me or them.

I'm not really sure what's going on but I don't think I want to know honestly.

My husband did well for his surgery and he's recovering.

I realize that it's hard to completely not sound like an authority figure on aftercare of surgery when you've been in the hospital multiple times and had multiple surgeries. I keep apologizing about it but it's like, "I can help!" - my poor cat-children keep trying to trip him when he walks and I think it's both cute and somewhat life-threatening like cats are.

One of them loves to sit on my shoulder while I'm going back and forth between rooms and I think I'm going to develop a crick in my neck from it.

So, two hours at the dentist -

1- several dentist techs trying to catch a fly. They weren't good at it.
2- met two old ladies, we compared surgeries, glasses, and dentures.
3- 7 xrays later, I found myself bounced between two rooms, less than twenty steps away from each other.
4- I almost ran over a child coming out of the dentist office
5- I got myself a apple taco.
