but i also absolutely respect that it's anyone's right to find the way i write to be gratuitous and pointless or annoying or w/e. if all someone does is skims my post for the dialogue and action to respond to in kind, i'm absolutely not mad. and if someone finds the way i write to be too difficult to write with full stop, that's absolutely their right to do so. but i definitely am not going to stop rambling in posts any time soon, and i don't think it's something to be ashamed of. Seconding this. I absolutely adore to be purple prose randomly and sometimes I have given a friend a 2k post with literally maybe 300 of substance because this character was so out of it, a literal alien and him trying to figure out how to order a coffee was literally some of the funniest sh*t that I ever wrote. There was absolutely no use to write all of that, but I had fun. I didn't expect anyone to respond or even care - and that's fine. As long as I move the thread along - there's not really a huge issue for me cause that's all I expect people to rp with me. If people find it annoying, I just ask for a heads up and I usually put a tldr or kind of break it with a line-break where it's actually things to do with the thread. I'm not going to stop it when it happens. It's going to show up with a shotgun and say 'write' and Imma write. As for my thought, I really wonder if you need an insurance license to sell Alien Abduction Insurance, because you need one for Hostage Insurance (Which is a thing I know way too much about), and it's fascinating to see the absolute legal olympic stretches that one does for law and insurance. One day I'm going to have an insurance agent character and it's going to be like my slow drain on life every time I have to explain to my overseas family how deductables and copays work.
