update: they loved me, i got the job, everything is okay, they just pushed the start date two weeks because of government grants.

i am so unbelievably happy. cried on the phone to my husband for like an hour telling him how excited i am. called my grandmother, called my mum. this is actually a huge deal for my career because i wasnโ€™t able to do a work term when i graduated due to covid but now that i have been transferred into a new program, this is like a summer only internship. paid. full time. after such a long time of wondering how i was going to pay my bills and feed myself. this is just.
