Aurora Academy houses misfits, riff-raff, students riddled with tragedy and bad choices and occurrences for a reason.

Long ago, there was Darkness that spread across the land. The Darkness itself was eventually trapped away in various places around the world, but that didn't stop all of it. It put evil into the hearts of men, and can still be seen today, just not in such high quantities. It is almost like a disease. Some are able to fight it and remain the happy positive beings that they were, but that doesn't mean they don't still carry it within them.

The students and teachers of Aurora Academy all have a bit of this Darkness within them. They were all specifically chosen to come here. The reason behind it remains hidden for now, a secret in itself. Not many can sense it yet. However, the Darkness underneath is growing, feeding off of the hearts and souls of those that dwell here.
