THE PREMISE.
FINAL GHOST is an original animanga RP that takes place in the fictional world of Poalara, where magic and technology have combined to create a new force of nature. Technology has far surpassed that of our own, in the form of cybernetic body modifications that have the potential to enhance oneโ€™s magical output. Magical energy, otherwise known as โ€œmanaโ€, is a finite resource and must be used sparingly before the human body runs out of it.

This has led mankind to search for an answer on how to either measure oneโ€™s mana or create more. At the front of this movement is Nova Corprations, who aims to improve mankindโ€” technologically and magically, but who is to say that is their only goal?

OUR SETTING.
Set in the city-country of Antanesha, a nation unassailed by law and controlled by corporation politics. Most of the cityโ€™s population is comprised by the country's lower-class despite the fact that the upper-class rules the city with an iron fist. They call themselves Antaneshians, and due to corporates and gangs controlling most of the city, neo-militarism is not a foreign concept to Antaneshians.

The atmosphere of Antanesha is best described as โ€˜neon-noirโ€™, where bright lights and holographic imagery are boundlessโ€” but the darkness of politics continue to cast shade the nation and itโ€™s people.

PLAYABLE SPECIES.
Humans - Antaneshianโ€™s resemble the humans in our world in every sense, down to their genetic makeup. There is nothing different aside from one thingโ€” the ability to use magic. Every human has a finite source of โ€œmanaโ€, and must conserve their mana or suffer dire consequences. Extreme usage of oneโ€™s mana resources leads to early aging, sickness ( physical and mental ), and even death. Humans are able to tap into many different types of magic. Though often the type is determined by genetics, magic can be tailored to the specific individual.

Synths GEN 1 - Virtually similar to humans except one fatal flaw: synths of this generation cannot utilize magic. Each synth is born, or โ€œbornโ€ in a laboratory where they are given synthetically created bones, guts, and gore. They are born with all the mental faculties of a full-grown human. Synths are distinguished by the existence of a neural chip within their brain, thus can only be identified after death because this neural chip cannot be removed or detected without killing the synth. Consider itโ€ฆ a โ€œheartโ€ of sorts.

Synths GEN 2 - Technology has advanced far beyond our imagination and Nova Corporations has recently made a break through: synths capable of tapping into mana resources. This is thanks to specialized โ€œneuro-servosโ€ within the synthโ€™s joints. But there is a caveat to this, for these synth must kill a human and โ€œhijackโ€ the manaโ€™s signals their corpse leaves behind. There are only a few GEN 2 synths in production, and all are kept in a lab on an island in the middle of the Sulti Sea. ... Or so they say. (PREMIUM SPECIES AND MUST BE BOUGHT VIA STORE)
