Hello! I'm looking for one of two characters I can't decide who I want to play more. Getting some of the plots and character dynamics I'm most interested in makes it much easier to decide, so here's something I would like to do with them.
The site in question is
The Sharpest Lives, a modern fantasy site with a hidden supernatural underground.
If you do want to take one of these characters, I ask that you
post at least twice a week on a regular basis. Breaks are fine, sometimes stuff happens, I just mean on average. I am a needy cat that wants threads and plots to move, and if they move slower than that then everything stalls and nothing happens. I'll probably post with in 24-48 hours of when you post. If we happen to be awake at the same time, I would 100% love to rapidfire post. Finishing 2-3 page threads in a day or two is the best, and will sink my greedy teeth into it whenever I can.

I'll start by describing my character and then put down what I want from the character tied to them. The details of the character are up to you (gender, FC, etc, if I acidentally reference them it is not intentional), I'm just going to make notes on the specifics I think are important. Everything is negotiable, so don't hesitate to ask and tell me your ideas.
Celestia Kalyani - The Perky Hatred
Looking for: Someone mean, if not outright evil, to make her life miserableCelestia is probably the most unpleasant character I have ever made, so don't feel bad about torturing her. I describe her as slime in human form because of how slimy she makes me feel when I write her. She's paranoid to the point she can't even trust herself, and life has forced her to be independent because interpersonal relationships are scary. She's physically weak, has no social power because she can't make friends, and desperately wants to feel strong and in control despite that. Thus, she lies pretty much all the time. She comes across as nice, caring, and kind at first blush because it's convenient and makes people like her. She gets a dopamine rush from betraying people, especially if she doesn't get caught or otherwise can do it again. On the rare occasion she does manage to get close to someone, she'll often sabotoge the relationship becasue she's too afraid of being betrayed herself.
She'll be a purity practitioner (basically, white magic-based witch) with empathy-based powers, but nothing very strong. Her strongest is arouond telling what people want.
She can make near perfect forgeries of art and handwriting, which are made more convincing by her magic.
She's a con-artist by trade and uses the above abilities to help with that.
Celestia came from a family that cared about magical or martial power, and she had neither. She has a bit of a complex about it. Her family is also very dead, even her extended family. She is quite literally the only one in her bloodline left.

About the character I want for herHer family contracted demons, vampires, animals, and other magical creatures to do their dirty work. Until about 300 years ago they used their abilities for ensnaring summons and mind controlling and/or cursing others. Your character would be one of these. Species doesn't matter, but they need to be long lived. Your character would have been responsible for training the next generation, whether that be martial, magical, or both, and would have basically have their mind altered to find these tasks extremely satisfying, and messing up painful. They should be completely aware that there's freaky magic bullshit going on here and that this likely not their true feelings.
Because of that magic, they would feel compelled to serve Celestia and make her stronger. I want them to absolutely hate this and absolutely hate her because of it. She's basically the final remnent of their enslavement. To make matters more annoying, she's been so far separated from her family's past sins that she's not aware of any of this and has no idea why your character is so obsessed with her.
The general dynamic is your character fighting between their hatred of their situation, Celestia's family, and feelings they're forced to feel because of magic while Celestia feels like she's in mortal danger and does everything she can to try to get rid of your character. I'm sure many fun things will happen once she figures out what's going on.
At some point, people in her family started dropping like flies. The line she's from retreated to the countryside and started using their abilities to heal peoples emotional pain instead of controlling them, but everyone else died one by one, and eventually, her immediate family did too. Whether your character had a hand in this or not is up to you. Becuase of the magic on them, they couldn't cause death directly (harm is fine, just nothing too severe, gotta train those newbies and you can't do that without punching them a little), but indirect methods are fair game.
Celestia is scrawny, weak, and can barely do any magic at all. I think it'd be funny if this pissed off your character a lot. Like, it's deeply offensive.
Veerle Pharaildis - The Angry Hatred
Looking For: A BFF that keeps her destructive behaviors in checkVeerle was abandoned by her parents and raised herself from a young age. As such, her life was very difficult and there's lots of trauma bundled up in there. She has difficulty regulating her emotions and can go from 0 to 100 real fast. She tried to fit in with polite society, but ultimately failed. It was to antithetical to her beliefs and behaviors. She started hating how it was run and would really love to tear it all down and put the world in a state of anarchy, possibly with a decent chunk of its population missing. Most of her anger is directed at those in power, but she doesn't really care if ordinary people get caught in the crossfire. She sees them as complicit in their own oppression. After all, if they fought too there's no way the social order would be able to stand.
Veerle and her BFF grew up in a somewhat war torn region. I'm pituring the border skirmishes in Ukraine, Armenia, or Isreal or something like that. I'm fine with picking a region or leaving it vague. They weren't child soldiers, they've just seen some shit.
She's going to be a werewolf.
I haven't decided completely, but her abilities will be very physical. Super strength, jumping, deflecting bullets off her rock-hard abs etc.
She's involved in organized crime. Probably the human mafia

About the character I want for herVeerle was on her own for awhile, but got psuedo-adopted by someone. That someone would be your character's parent(s). She was never officially part of the household because she didn't want to be (too independent), but stuck around. The nature of the family is very open, but I do request that at least one parent (the one Veerle bonded with most) to be particular about defending their home and neighborhood from the violence that plagued the area, passing down some of that desire to defend what's important. I'd also prefer if they were dead, but I'm okay with talking about this.
Your character should care about being a 'good person.' Exactly what that means is up to you, but at minimum, they need to generally care about people, and want to make the world a better place instead of a crater.
The dynamic would be the two of them have absolute trust in each other and would consider each other to be one of the most important people in their lives. They get along well, but Veerle's often frustrated by how soft they are, and they are not comfortable with Veerle's more anti-social behaviors and desire for violence. They work together, and both of them end up as better people because of it.
Veerle's probably going to be 23-25, and I want your character to be 1-4 years younger than her. I am willing to negotiate Veerle's age, but I do want her to be fairly young.
Their shared goal is to make it so magic no longer has to be secret, and all the supernatural people can live openly. They tried to do this wherever they were living before, and it nearly got them killed (Veerle lost an eye to angry vampires), so they're being a bit more cautious this time around. They picked New Orleans to move to because it seemed like a city that was more open to magic already and seemed like a good spot to get started.
They're not biologically related, so your character can be any species. Don't feel like they have to join the mafia either, Veerle would respect their decision either way.
Veerle's abilities are very straightforward, and she prefers punching her problems. I'd like it if your character had a different approach and abilities, whether that be in scouting, infiltration, or whatever else you can think of.
I'd like it if your character also had trouble integrating into society after all the shit they've seen. Possibly some amount of PTSD, but what that looks like is up to you.
