For Marlene there's plenty one could do - from figuring out a backstory of your own for her, to building up her team. You could post a topic for her squad seeking soldiers or else create your own NPCs to take control of when needed - or even both!

I write Spider-Man in a 1x1 and 'webs' was part of his username. I go by a different alias when writing him, but 'webs' stuck after a while, with variations - usually i'm 'aspiderweb' or 'spiderwebs' if 'webs' is taken on a site. for a while i tried out 'draco' on RH but eventually it didn't feel right so i reverted to 'webs' and now it's a lot more comfortable!

My one true love has always been Rapidash, but I nearly always have a Houndoom on my team. In Pokemon X, I fell in love with Pachirisu and refused to take them off of my team until I found a suitable replacement (I think I swapped them for a Charizard). 

Every team I have is comprised mainly of Dark, Electric, and Fire types. Rarely anything else unless the Pokemon have dual natures (which most I pick up do). I just don't seem to go for any types out of there, except the one time I gave Rockruff a try.

Not in any particular order, and only three because I don't feel like I've watched another anime enough to label it in my top.

Attack on Titan - obligatory, this is what got me into anime AND manga once again.

Sword Art Online - the first anime I actively watched and binged fully without stopping first. SAO II was a bit different. Not quite patiently waiting for Alicization to be fully out to binge watch it.

One Punch Man - unlike Attack on Titan, it was something I could chill out and watch with my younger sibling without having to watch ahead for gory bits.

Some of the anime I'm hoping to watch sometime soon: DARLING in the FRANXX, Akagami no Shirayukihime & Owari no Seraph

hi. i'm webs, i've not been in the animanga fandom for long - got into it through Sword Art Online and Attack on Titan approximately a year ago. I'm mostly up to date on SAO's anime, then I'm two seasons into AoT and 55 chapters into Shingeki no Kyojin. I've also just read through (to current) Chi Nn Wadachi which was an... interesting read (but now I want to use Seiichi as a faceclaim).

roleplay-wise, the only animanga roleplay I'm involved in is an Attack on Titan AU. i've been roleplaying for around 13-14 years now, mostly on forums and social media. admittedly, not so into proboards any more, so i'm still finding my way around What Does What on pixel-perfect!

how much will i be on here? we'll see, i ebb and flow around different communities as i feel, but i really love discussing things, giving input, and sometimes i'm brave enough to give advice as well. i'm astounded by the idea of proboards templates so i've been browsing those in awe.

Reluctant Heroes is a 15+ alternate universe roleplay set in the fandom of Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin. A few details have been changed - for instance, the 104th Cadet Corps were conscripted or signed up only a few months after the Fall of Wall Maria. Now set in 847, the corps are about to graduate, only for Titans to flood the district of Utopia. Our current site plot event revolves around this attack, though we welcome posts being written before this event.

We accept both original and canon characters. Below, I'll showcase a number of canon characters we're looking for, though be sure to check out our full canon list!

Due to our members being both or either anime and/or manga fans, events taking place from the beginning of season 3/chapter 52 must be tagged as spoilers on site, or placed in our #spoilers channel on Discord.

Cadet Corps
Bertolt Hoover - from places currently unknown
Typically found at Reiner's side, Bertholdt is quiet and capable, often underestimated.

Hannah Diamant - from an undisclosed place within Wall Rose
Bright and cheerful, she's best known for her hopefulness and optimism.

Reiner Braun - from places currently unknown
A member of a certain trio, Reiner is one of the finest cadets in his intake, and spends the majority of his time in the company of Bertholt.

Garrison Regiment
Hannes - a unit captain
A kind and good-natured man, Hannes was a somewhat irresponsible soldier, often drunk on duty. He cares deeply for Eren and Mikasa.

Kitz Weilman - captain of the 1st Division Elite Forces
Despite his strength as a soldier, he struggles with paranoia in stressful situations, and may act without fully looking at the details of the situation.

Military Police
Dennis Aiblinger - a ranking officer
A rather lazy and laid-back ranking officer, he is stationed in Stohess District and shirks his duties to younger soldiers. He's a habitual gambler and drinker.

Kenny Ackerman - member of the First Interior Squad
An ambitious and ruthless individual, he hides his emotions as he carries out his orders, showing neither remorse nor pleasure.

Nile Dok - commander
Rational and adaptable, he approaches situations by weighing all options before him. He does not condone corruption, but does not have full control over those beneath him.

Survey Corps
Dita Ness - a team leader
Often responsible in teaching new recruits how expeditions work, he never takes his job lightly, though has a light-hearted side, particularly with his horse.

Gelgar - member of Squad Mike
A very serious soldier, he believes strongly in Mike's decisions and abilities. When not in danger, he does manage to relax.

Marlene - a team leader
Experienced and professional enough to lead her own team, she is also a cheerful and somewhat playful woman, teasing her colleagues.

Other
Dimo Reeves - merchant
Selfish to the extent of endangering other lives, he is honest and puts his own survival and his business before all else, unless convinced otherwise.
