original post pokemon x stardew valley/harvest moon/rune factory - alternate real world where pokemon exist alongside animals
- 1:1 time movement w/ large timeskips if majority of members agree
- can have 3 pokemon of any non legendary or UB species that cover a partner, a transport, an aid/worker
- if you want three shiny gardevoir with different movesets to cover each of those categories you can do that idc
- take up a role as a shopkeep of some kind, an adventurer, or go live and work on one of 5 farms
- no number keeping besides knowing what season it is
- staff are only there to kick trolls pretty much
- anyone can run events - want to rip open a hole in timespace and drop giratina on everyone? ok go plan it out among members and get it going my dudes

Things are still up in the air and I'd love to hear any input y'all have. I'm just gotta throw out a bunch of dot points on what is vaguely planned out.
Basics- I don't feel like setting up an entire forum only for it to die in five seconds. This will be a discord server mainly at this point.
- it isn't planned to be a very large server, each member could have their own channel to do as they wish
- like post information about their character, have an IC journal, have private RPs, post dank memes their character likes
- you are super welcomed to have things like a pinterest board or a tumblr for your character information, or only use the directory on the server's tumblr (check out the code we'll be using here it's neato)
- probably only one character per person to start off but I don't have too much issue with people making as many as they want, but you don't get a new channel for each character
- face claims optional, as long as it's an illustration you're fine
- want to do rapidfire? para? multiple 2000 posts? Go for it my dudes.
Staff - here to kickban trolls and create new categories and channels as needed
- update and reply on tumblr, send out invites
- really really lax on what is 'staff' honestly, most people will get basic discord powers after being active for a month or something
- srsly not gonna micromanage your character choices and pokemon choices if you want to suddenly change to say you were childhood friends with Xerneas and have a Suicune in your party like go for it man, people don't have to interact with you
Joining - submit a basic app through tumblr which means people need a tumblr - maybe also offer a google doc submission too?
- suuuper basic like two or three paragraphs in total for everything about the character
- staff go and check their tumblr so we don't get oops! Actually a huge racist/pedo/TERF/etc! This ain't always a surefire way to weed them out but it avoids some cases
- the app gets posted anonymously for the entire server to vote on
- majority yes/no and boop send invite or send a 'yo thanks for the interest' and clear the app from the channel
Activity Checks and Problem Members
- once every two months? lol idk
- ok yeah there's the whole thing above about staff not being a big deal but I'll still be the server owner and sometimes you can't solve an issue talking to a person in the server and you need the big mean server admin to step in
- I could set up a !votekick bot command or something too
Setting and World - AU real world with pokemon and minor magic
- no set time period as of yet, the main motivation to come to the town is to 'get back to nature', advancements in technology may make life safer but it is causing a divide between people and pokemon
- could be current day, could be ye olde times, I'm not too set on it
- humans, pokemon, and humans who have been born or adapted to have magic - they gain a type other than basic human Normal
- so kind of like gijinka only you don't fully turn into a pokemon, named after myths
- you could be a "selkie" who is a water type human with fins and gills who lives on ice floes with spheal families
- harpies whose arms have turned into the wings of the bird pokemon they flock with
- or a dryad who is grass type and has leafy hair and flowers of a lilligant
Events and Flow of Time - talk talk talk guys! It's up to people to run what they want when they want
- 2 months = one season?
- if an event is something huge like a massive bush fire or the above Giratina showing up, or a large time skip, it goes to a server vote
- events should strive to be opt-in and able to be ignored or only mentioned in passing by other members
That's it from me for the moment, there's plenty of things I've missed but hey that's why this thread is here to discuss and build
