i was running the store solo, and some guy came in yesterday wanting his package that i didn't have, and he kept waving his hands around, which apparently he had a knife and decided swinging it around would help him get his package faster, which i still didn't have.

soooo ended up with one of my other customers coming in and tackling him, before i was able to call the cops.

only downside of table top: dice control a character's emotional arc, so it's heartbreaking when its over and a character ends at rock bottom and never recovers.

at least in rp i can steer my babies away from total self-annihilation :c

i've developed this really bad habit of trying to swallow down my laughter if i read something that makes me want to actually laugh out loud. it wouldn't be a problem if i succeeded or managed just a small chuckle or something

but when i read something like this that just hits me RIGHT in the funny bone, i end up spitting and it's all over my laptop monitor
