hellooooooo i'm in a zine :DDDD

i'm literally so hyped!! this is the second zine i've applied to and the first one i actually wanted to get into (the other zine had literally 200 artists and idrm writers that applied, so i knew there was zero chance from the get go), and i definitely did not expect to get in! i'm past my excited squealing phase, but im still so hyped sdlkfjdsa

ANYWAY YEA uhhh this is rlly exciting for me haha

speaking of zines, I also got to participate in my first zine this year and it's officially gonna be released tomorrow! (September 9th) The zine is called Window To Worlds and focuses on original story and/or character content. Please consider checking it out, there's so many cool artists and artworks in there (and it's free)

I've Grown Tired of This Body, Cumbersome and Heavy
I try not to get to negative on here. But last week I lost my precious cat who meant the world for me and was my rock for the last year. (He was FelV and FIV positive and we were given a year when we got him. He missed a year exactly by two days.) It's been really hard lately, I've never lost a pet like that before.

To top it off we've been fostering a dog who was diagnosed with bladder cancer and the shelter is having to put down because of it. So I'll be losing her tonight.

I'm sorry for bringing up the negativity but typing it out and facing it has been the only comfort I've been able to do to work. Anyway I'm going to post a few pictures of these two, just so anyone might sit and see how cute they were.

i know that this is practically heresy here, but out of all subjects, i very much dislike creative writing. any kind of abstract writing, really. five-page persuasive essay? fine. ten-page research paper? cool. but the mere prospect of a 500-word memoir has turned my mood sour for the whole week!
