Hello! I'd like to officially make a thread here on Pixel Perfect to announce Commissions for Leap. I'm Melon, I manage and run Leap's commissions because mental health is hard. So anything you'll be doing with her you'll have to come through me. If you message Leap herself about commissions you will be ignored.[break][break]

Template commissions are 10 dollars per template, though there are three slots you can get up to 5 templates per commission (possibly more if some are really simple we can chat about it!).[break][break]

Custom Pages, such as guidebooks and things are up in the air depending on complexity but range around 20-30 dollars. We only will take one of these per commission.[break][break]

As for other, it completely depends. This one is just ask![break][break]

Finally, skin commissions are based on Leap's mental health and come with it's own pricing and set of rules, so they will come in their own posts if they're opened up.[break][break]

Payment for anything other than skins will happen upon the completion and approval of your commission though paypal.[break][break]

..that being said.... I'm happy to announce that Leap has decided to take on ONE proboards skin commission! Along with an additional person added to a waitlist. So here's a little bit of information if you're interested:[break][break]

The price for a complete skin will be $200 dollars.[break][break]

This commission will NOT be a first come first serve basis. We'll be taking submissions for a week or so, then Leap will decide which one she would like to pick.[break][break]

Once picked we will ask for half the payment upfront, then the other half before sending you to code file, after approval from you.[break][break]

Please allow for at least three months of completion, if you need the skin sooner please look into commissioning someone else. Along with this, Leap is working on healing from some intense mental health issues please keep in mind anytime you commission her she could fall into a health rut. Any prior payment will be refunded if the commission takes longer than three months or Leap feels she cannot take the commission anymore.[break][break]

Leap will only work as code support up to one month after final payment. Afterward she is no longer obligated to fix any issues you find. Of course there are plenty of coding resources for you to seek help with, and you're still welcome to ask but she might not be able to set aside the time. [break][break]

Doing something a little outside the usual. Job hunting has been long, miserable, and going nowhere, but the ideas well is also running dry. Rather than sell completed pre-made skins (of which there are none), however, or take full skin commissions, I will be doing a number of partial skin sales. What the heck is a 'partial skin sale'? Essentially, there is a component of a skin (usually a header area) that I'm quite fond of and would like to finish/have ideas for finishing, the sort that would normally be used for a personal forum and/or sold as a pre-made down the line.[break][break]

For a reduced price, interested buyers may put a 'hold' one of these soon-to-be complete skin designs. Partial skins that have a hold on them will be prioritized over those that don't, and the holder is allowed to make suggestions and requests for unfinished parts of the skin. However, these are not formal commissions; this means that not all suggestions or requests will be met, should those come into conflict with the 'vision' of the skin (basically, any request that would make it notably more difficult to work on it, or completely suck the joy out of working on it). Because of this, you're welcome to drop or swap 'holds' at any point, if an in-progress skin you were holding no longer interests you, and you will be given the option (not expected) to purchase the skin on completion with no hard feelings if you decline at any point. If a 'held' partial skin is completed, but the holder is no longer interested in purchasing it for themselves, that skin will be put up for sale as a pre-made and sold to the first interested buyer as usual.[break][break]

"Okay," you ask yourself, "so what's the point? Why not just do pre-mades?" In exchange for your patience while I work on the coding and the understanding that these are projects that are as important design-wise to me as they are to the buyer, you can have some say in the design of a skin that will cost you less than would be charged for a proper commission. Basically the weird love child of a pre-made sale and a commission. That's about the gist of it.[break][break]

More about how partial skin sales will work can be found on the relevant Tumblr post (each skin listing is reblogged from this, so it should be easy to find). Please be sure to read through it before requesting a hold.[break][break]
