So. I want more cyberpunk rp stuff. I want more crime rp stuff. I want more rps that highlights the more political aspects of things, corruption wise because I want that juicy drama. And then I said to myself, why not all three? That's where Remove Their Humanity (title is pending) comes into play. In order to play hard and go from a nobody to a successful CEO, sometimes you got to throw away your humanity and replace it with inhumanity. The general premise is pretty simple to follow. It's in a cyberpunk setting that runs high in crime and political corruption. Corrupt government, officials abusing their powers, a class system that obviously prefers the rich over the the common or lower classes, illegal trades, and the list goes on. It's the city of making dreams come true, but you gotta learn how to survive a couple of nightmares. Members can go above and beyond with their weapon or other item ideas that they want to show off and be a hero, a villain, or watch from the sideline. I'm also considering have androids as a playable race. I don't want to make things too complicated since, after all, simplicity is usually better. There are a few member group ideas and names I have in mind. These are what I have so far: -> Silver Spoons: Speak "Silver Spoons" and most of the commoners will sneer. They're a gang that has wealth originated from suspicious contacts that get the job done to gain more wealth. The most successful business people, celebrities, athletes, and so on have gained their enormous wealth from the gang. Rumors would often tie to the rich that they're affiliated with the Silver Spoons. Kind of like the illumunati in a sense. -> Old Money: Speak "Old Money" and you'll get a couple of nods in agreements of their motivation. Old Money, despite its meaning, does not refer to generational wealth, but their ideology shows support of equality of all social and economical classes. All classes that support this idea are found in this group. -> Wooden Spoons: Speak "Wooden Spoons" and some commonfolk will cheer. This group despises the rich and wants to tear them down all together. They favor the working classes, let them be low to middle. Anyone that has an impressive income is automatically considered the enemy and automatically labels them as an associate of the Silver Spoons. -> Golden Knives: Speak "Golden Knives" and you'll witness a few uneasy glares. The Golden Knives are a more extreme case of the Silver Spoons. While they both commit crimes, the Golden Knives view those that are below wealth as the useless scums of the earth and believe they should work for them. The real difference between the Golden Knives and the Silver Spoons is that the Golden Knives like to get their hands dirty. Sure they have henchmen like the Silver Spoons, but they bring in their own source of wealth. -> The Ark: Speak "The Ark" and you'll only get silence. The Ark is an organization that are anarchists. They don't believe in the concept of classes and instead believes the idea that those that can truly defend themselves in a lawless world are the riches. They're said to be the most violent and have almost nothing to lose. -> Pawn Sharks: Speak "Pawn Sharks" and you'll see a few shifty eyes. They're a gang that's considered to be independent filled with assassins, hackers, and trades of weaponry or other items at a good price. It's best to try and stay on their good side. -> Syndicate: Speak "Syndicate" and you'll get a few groans and eye rolls. They're the government, basically. -> Regulars: Speak "Regulars" and... well, what else is there to it? They're the civilians that take no side of them mess. Or they do, but they don't have official affiliations to them. I don't have much else to offer right now since I'm all the way at the drawing board right now. These groups are also subjected to change and even the direction of the site may change. That's all I have for now, so any sort of feedback or interest is appreciated! |
