Meet Dabi, a man who's had a troubled past as a child. Believe it or not, he and Deirdre attended the same school system. She was a freshman when she first met him. He was a senior during that time and despite Deirdre's attempts to become his friend, Dabi didn't appear to reciprocate her feelings. Instead, he would seize the opportunity to bully her and bring her down in any way he could. He was semi-aware of her crush towards him, yet he thought nothing of it. He was merely trying to fit in with the rest of his peers and believed that the only way to do that was to belittle Deirdre, just like the rest of his classmates were doing. Truth be told, Dabi truly wanted to get to know her. he was drawn to her gentle nature and soft smile, yet he never acted on those feelings. At the end of his senior year, the two of them would part ways. He would hold a lot of guilt for treating Deirdre so poorly, unable to forget her even as the years rolled by. Now an adult, he soon reunites with his old schoolmate and is given the forgiveness he never thought he would be earning from her.

• This man is incredibly touch-starved. If Deirdre were to show him any form of physical affection, he is putty in her hands. He refuses to let anyone touch him without his consent, but if it's Deirdre, he welcomes her gentle touch with open arms.
• Dabi has a bad smoking habit, one he's been struggling with quitting. Once he and Deirdre get closer, she is going to chastise him when she catches him doing so. Despite being annoyed at first, he will eventually be willing to quit for her. The last thing he wants is for her to worry too much over him.
• Once he and Deirdre become a couple, he is going to be the most faithful and protective lover. He has had a fair share of flings and one-night stands in the past, but Deirdre brings out the best in him. However, he might be a little bit possessive of her due to the fact that he has never been so close to anyone before. He is genuinely afraid of losing the only good thing in his life.
• Even though he puts on the tough guy act, Dabi has a genuine heart of gold. He will never admit it, but he just wants someone to accept and love him for who he is.
