His lavender hair was tied up in a cloth bow, his outfit embroidered with the finest silks that the country could trade, his Mantle of Magic Knight was perfectly placed on his person. There was a servant at the door, ready to open it once a certain member of the clan would come knocking, making their presence known.

Pierre continued to sip at his tea. It was time for one of his relatives to be announced as a member of the Magic Knights, and supposedly, it was his job to inform the other young heir of it. He wasn’t enthused, but it wasn’t something he would argue. But of course, he could question the meaning behind making the other mage a knight when throughout his life, he’d displayed nothing but illness and fragility.
