Blood and Blue Sky.

I actually came up with the idea for this a good while ago on the last site under a different username, and I believe it generated a little bit of interest, but it's more developed now, and I have much more time to spend working on it. I'm a world-building nut, as has been evidenced by all the other rps I have proposed, so a friend of mine proposed making a wholly original world, so when I remembered that I'd actually put together a little bit of a plan for that, I jumped right into it.

Aldiron is a planet just blossoming into an age of technological revolution, magic and technology are both rapidly improving in the current, powerful economy. All of this falls to pieces when a diplomatic tour was held by the massive and powerful Volcuri Empire ends with the emperor falling ill. Despite all the efforts of the greatest magicians and doctors, his condition worsens and he passes away, it is assumed that this will be the end of the illness, however after the late emperor's funeral the disease begins appearing in the city below as well.

Aldiron would be a stat based rp with a diceroll combat system. Players would be able to govern their own cities and participate in one of two sides in a violent upcoming war. Word count won't be outrageous, I'd like this to be welcoming to people new to rp, so somewhere around 150 words?
