Grande is an Animanga urban fantasy faction-focused roleplay where most of the roleplay is in the city of the same name, The World City, Grande. Grande is a world where the supernatural exists, Gods do answer prayers, and a world reeling from a war that almost destroyed the world 50 years ago. A place where factions vie for the Grand Leyline, for humanity, and the direction of the planet as a whole.

Well, at least he was right about him being Kanehira’s child. How defensive he was. Yoshihisa both could and couldn’t relate. He himself had only a few kind words for his own father, though he had witnessed Tomohisa beat someone within an inch of their life before for daring to disrespect his own name. Then again, that could have just been an excuse to start a fight with another clan.
"C'mon.. hang... in there... Eun..." Sixteen could barely function. He was a fucking mess. Still, he tried. He tried to get up. He tried to fight them, but the poison that Ivie had laced into Kari's blood was now also in his. It was affecting him just as much. The projects both just stood there, waiting, watching. Ivie's vines once more wrapped around them. "Gotta.. fight." His mind was so blurry. "EUN!" But there was no answer, there couldn't be.

Kari had already died before when Kyou killed her before the lack of serum could get to her first, but that had been so fast that she was already gone before she even hit the ground. This was different. So much different. She felt everything, was more than aware of what was happening as her own blood soaked into her clothes, the faint sound of her brother’s anguished cry, and her own final living thoughts. ’I’m so fucking useless…’

”I…” She didn’t really need to say it. Something inside of her had well and truly broken. She probably wouldn’t be able to skirt close to death again and expect to come out of it okay. Not that she really had this time. ”Six…teen…” Yeah, it made sense that she wanted to know if he was okay. If he’d kicked it as well like she had. If he was even still here or if those projects had taken him. What had even happened to them? Did Kyou finally make an appearance after she’d died? Far too many panicked thoughts for someone who just came back from the dead a few seconds ago.
“Where I’m from it’s free game once someone draws their weapon.” The life expectancy was also about two weeks where she was from as well, but that was irrelevant.
How did humans do it? That was a fantastic question, wasn’t it? The better part of Kari’s own life had been spent trying to be good enough, trying to impress her parents who wanted nothing to do with her, trying to survive on the streets of London, fighting the obnoxious voice inside her head while performing to her master’s standard. And then what? She had lost her purpose and turned to killing, trying to survive while her own body tore itself apart and slowly drove her into insanity. And now she just…existed. She had no real purpose, she just drifted about with no real goal to work towards.
This thread just hurts me more every time I reply to it. My girl needs therapy
Yoshihisa could have peacefully lived out the rest of his time in the daemon realm with his wife and kids after Kanehira passed, but here he was instead struggling through the modern era because that old fool decided to have six children. And then those children had children and once again the situation had gone south and his stress levels had gone directly north.
Kari crouched down so she could at least attempt to meet his gaze, but the state that he was in just hurt to see. It was like the last time he mentally broke all over again. But this time it was her fault for not telling him. ”I….I’m sorry..” For what? What could she even apologise for? She had told herself that telling him his original purpose would only damage his relationship with Rei, and Sixteen was so happy with him it almost gave her cavities. If she had severed that relationship, even only marginally, she would never had been able to forgive herself. And now here he was. He knew. And it was hurting him so goddamn much. And it was her fault, wasn’t it? It was her fault again. Always…breaking things.
Kyte couldn’t suppress the shriek of absolute terror that left him when Sixteen dragged him into a shadow, looking like he’d just seen hell when he was released from the Kyte couldn’t suppress the shriek of absolute terror that left him when Sixteen dragged him into a shadow, looking like he’d just seen hell when he was released from the darkness. He gave a small sigh, a hand held to his chest, when the project greeted him, and pulled himself up to stand. He really hadn’t changed after all these years, huh? Old habits die hard, he supposed. Sixteen mentioned Kari having a surprise for him, and he couldn’t help the exhausted look plastered to his face.”If it’s anything like your surprise, I trust I’ll be an unrecognisable pile of ashes by the end of the day.”
