admin panel is absolute garbo.

gonna b honest jcink's main selling point for me is the ability to use html in posts (and the fact i know how to skin on it). oh and the alert system. proboards makes it a miserable affair for me to keep track of threads while with jcink all my notifs go to one main account and i can manually delete them.

but ADMIN PANEL IS GARBAGE U R NOT ALONE

my standards are low so i've loved this game more or less from the start. it definitely exceeded my expectations. i do think there are flaws with it (of course) but my enjoyment outweighs those by a lot.

i like every character save for a select handful. honestly, the only ones i really dislike are probably lysithea and leonie. leonie has a weird dad complex and lysithea is REALLY mean to others but without the redeeming qualities felix has from what i've seen??and i'm tired of her WAH TREAT ME LIKE AN ADULT obsession.

that said, i'm doing BL > GD > BE. i already beat the blue lion's route and i'm slowly working my way through GD.

my favorites are probably likeee

blue lions sylvain, felix, dedue, mercedes, dimitri
golden deer claude, marianne, and i will admit lorenz is really growing on me and i hate him for it
black eagles caspar and ferdinand probably. i've got a super weird thing going on for hubert b/c of fanart tho

i made flayn my dancer my first playthrough and this time i'm gonna make caspar a dancer my sweet sweet boy.

my greatest accomplishment in this game: using all 50 of the bait the fishing tourney gave you and recruiting goddamn ferdinand von aegir into my fucking house

if you haven't already, definitely send them a message! two months is a bit of a long wait but i'd give the two weeks one maybe a bit longer. don't feel bad about messaging them for status updates! you're paying them for this and as long as you're not being rude or demanding, it's totally okay to ask for screenshots and progress updates.

some artists still do personal stuff in between commissions from what i've seen because it can help w/ burnout. and depending on the complexity of the art or the amount of comms they're working on, it can take longer.

if they ignore you and don't give you any update or proof of work, don't hesitate to push for a refund or even force one from paypal on their end. there's a difference between taking a while and straight up refusing to work with you.
