Last week or so, I've been like "why am I so depressed and unmotivated lately" and feeling down on myself only to have to repeatedly remind myself that I had a death in the family and a stroke in the family within less than a month of each other AND around the holidays & my birthday. Very "it's a cow farm, there's going to be cows". Life's shitty and it's okay to be sad sometimes.

You can use a bot (I use Tickets) which has a system where users can press a button and it will create a private channel or thread where staff and the user that opened it can discuss whatever.

I use one embed for apps and one for opening general moderation bc you can create forms and things.

And I like threads, because I can rename them and have a nice archive of tickets, and it's easier to add people to them as needed.

The bot also notifies you when a ticket is opened.

Intellectually I know therapy is a service that I am paying for and can stop at any point I want to, but I sure did spend the whole weekend stressing about sending my therapist an email about cancelling one (1) appointment.

ya boy accidentally spent $25 on honkai star rail and overdrafted his bank account, because *checks notes* he didn't consider that using the cable to play on PC with his PS5 controller wouldn't disable the bluetooth connecting it to the ps5.

ouroboros of part of the reason i struggle to get into new sites is i've been out of the forum rpc too long and don't have any strong connections to anyone anymore. and it's so much easier to be invested in a site if you have at least one friend you talk to regularly to help you generate interest, but to make new friends you have to... be invested in a site to stay long enough to form new friendships.
