my parents were actually way more accepting than i expected bc my partner and i are both nonbeeny and they were just like "yeah... i kinda expected u to be something non-cis"

I could scream. Stick my neck out for a family member to get a job at my company. After working with schedules and other issues for weeks, I finally get them and our hiring manager pinned down for an interview. Then my cousin has the audacity to not even show up and ignores my calls. Last time I stick my neck out there for them.
