...so do the Warlords also fight or do they just buff their Pokemon?

Either way, this sounds promising and interesting.

Oh! Good question!

The Warlords in the Pokemon Conquest series pretty much used their Pokemon for war. So weapons were absent. The RP would be true to the series and keep the emphasis more so on how the uniqueness of the character is expressed through the Pokemon.

So, basically, the Pokemon would have some kind of trait they know reflective of the Warlord or Kingdom they hail from (like a traditional "art").  The RP would be far from traditional considering that in Conquest, the aspect of Pokemon catching, leveling, and item utilization (Pokemon tools and the like) were absent which means Warlords played more of roles in strengthening their Pokemon due to unique characteristics they had. The RP will focus more on the Warlords/characters that are created and how their own unique traits will affect their Pokemon based on conditions and character Kingdom of origin.

Examples:
-A Warlord from the Kaen Kingdom (Called Ignis in Conquest) has the ability to add "Burn" to his Pokemon's "slash" based attacks through his arts.
-A Nun from the Hajime Monastery that has an art that heals when their Pokemon uses Fairy-Based attacks.
-A Samurai from Fukutsu (Formally Valora) being able to increase their Defense when their Pokemon is hit by physical attacks.

So the focus will be on the Warlord "technically" but their special trait is expressed through their Pokemon. It just depends largely on imagination at best. ^_^

Tearing Through Heaven
Welcome to Ransei!

Once upon a time, the Pokemon World was one grand Pangea: a collection of the regions we know today in the world of Pokemon. Across this land, there were no Pokemon Trainers, but there were Warlords! They fought battles alongside their Pokemon with sublime tactics and strategy that would far exceed the battles today. They were intense, relentless, and (often) fatal. The "Divine" were the Pokemon who had a hand in creating this world and would even offer their power to warriors when ideas aligned. Such feats crowned these warriors as Warlords and legends!

But regardless of their achievements, this is a story about how the Gods and Lords split the world.
Features

  • A Pokemon Conquest inspired Roleplay (the one that used elements from Romance of the Three Kingdoms & Sengoku Musō series).

  • Some familiar elements of Fire Emblem to add in Academy elements. Story will focus on two elements: The Young Warlords who attend the academy in representation of their Kingdoms learning to work together to repel Bandits, powerful wild Pokemon, and sometimes catastrophic opposition; while another part is the political alliances, plotting, and planning of Kingdoms and their lords to gain the upper hand in this world of war.

  • A heavily story-based, Member driven RP with minimal stat elements to allow freedom of story creation. This follows the Link System in PKMN Conquest where plot development with other characters and interactions grants progression.

  • Many different Warlord classes that reflects the "Trainers" of the Sengoku Period [Seer, Mystics, Samurai, Ninja, Mages, etc] along with other classes tied to their Kingdom/Lands of origin.

  • Warlord-based abilities that adds a unique touch to Pokemon Battles reflective of that of the warriors from the series. Pokemon are able to suddenly recover in a burst of HP when conditions are met? A certain status is added to an attack? A stat increase is added? The possibilities are endless based on the Warlord and the class they choose.

  • Custom concept creation is possible. Have a unique idea? The staff will be happy to hear it out. We love some original and thought out concepts that will contribute to the character design and story.

  • Monthly events that involve interactions with unique Pokemon. Stop disasters or fight against the will of the "Gods" who control the Pangea of Ransei. Unfold a story that drags all the Kingdoms into an inevitable and grim fate.

  • Clans, Kingdoms, Academy Students, and Abilities? Many aspects to build a unique character! Give them a unique background in a Pokemon World full of Sengoku-based feudalism.

::Details::
Almost everything has been fleshed out in a giant doc and the forum layout (colors and theme) is being worked on. So far, this bunny would like to know what else to possibly add since there are only two people in the planning. The lore revolves around the formation of the system the lords were working on post-story of PKMN Conquest. Open to some suggestions and very willing to share what this bunny has so far.

Also, just really trying to gauge how open everyone is to this since it is halfway done. 0_0

Usagi watched Bofuri and now feels like they made an anime about this bunny!

Because this bunny knows nothing about MMOs and the only reason he mains Noelle in Genshin Impact is because he wanted that high defense and somehow he is managing in the game! T_T

Let this bunny live its life! D=

can we...

do a japanese feudal fantasy setting... with magical girls and boys, based on Japanese/Greek gods?

or maybe just an inuyasha rp???

This bunny gets to play a villainess that has Persephone as a motif, yes?

Then yes! Definitely yes! 0_0
