it seems like factions are forming in my city and i dont like it

trying to navigate my neighbour's potential responses to things like me telling her "yeah im playing dnd tmr" & getting a response that sounds off is more exhausting than teaching children 8 hours a day i'm tearing my hair out!!! i didn't organise it!!! it's not my fault!!! i'm not going to lie (ESPECIALLY NOT LOL) or tell you it's none of your business bc i don't like doing that!!

i met my best friend and longtime rp partner (on and off bc we run in different sites rly but they're my best friend and even came to visit me during year abroad) lit. bc i randomly joined their site they opened way back when we were like 16 and they hired me to be the nice staffer. that's it. that's the tweet.

i genuinely can say the number of ppl ive connected w like how i connected w them i can only count on one hand. i love them to death. i want to write like them. but there's very few ppl i can say that i write a thread w them and our chars immediately just click in whatever way. sometimes more than what we thought. genuinely, just my best friend. could go months w/o chatting and come back and its like we never had that break. they have my entire heart.

every time i code im like "i should code this for mobile", don't, and then regret it some weeks later when i revisit it to do exactly that and have no idea what i need to change

unrelated to the other discussions what do people use to make like. worldbuilding maps and stuff. i have the artistic brain of a peanut and i really don't just want to take japan's honshu island and rearrange it

i cried ugly tears in my 3rd grade class because they all made me individual goodbye cards and they sang me my favourite masaki suda song (niji - which is about beingby your side forever) and i just broke down right there and then

last day at the school i was covering for a semester and its p known amongst the staff i wanted to stay, but the way i nearly broke down when my 6th graders presented me with a paper bouquet of flowers as a thank you for the semester and im about to cry ugly tears in the staff room

i also have a panda sticker on my head

i guess it's random, but there is something really really lovely about... bear w me - someone pops up in a pokemon draft league of mine i dont rly participate in anymore, but they had been hella creepy to me and other femme-presenting members way back when thye had been a member (and got banned back then) and w/ them popping up ur ex // best friend (used to date, broke up, still good friends) immediately is there like "im gonna ban their ass". idk. just made me wibble a bit

thanks for the suggestion!! part of the reason i was underprepared was literally because i was sure we were only doing one mini adventure so when my group asked to do the second i was winging it LOL but ill definitely look it up! <3
