Still lamenting my wonderful padded, incredibly soft moon chair that was broken when my sister tried to sit it in... with a whole other adult human person, snapping one of the legs. 😞 Many all-nighters spent in that chair watching Batman: The Animated Series. I haven't been able to afford a moon chair since, much less one of that nice of quality.

My brother just sent me a Youtube link to an uncut version of a rock opera we're both obsessed with, with eight more songs that were cut for the final release. This means two things:

1. Fortunately, I get 33% more Streets: A Rock Opera to listen to and memorize.

2. Unfortunately, this means that my Streets pre-made project is officially out of date, and I must now do it all over from the start with 24 individual parts, plus a new skin. Are there even that many unique types of templates and remodels? *sweats profusely*

Went to my first music festival last night, and I'm still buzzing with excitement. Kinda wish I had the money to have gone for both nights, but I'm super happy with the bands I got to see, especially since apparently this was one of the very last shows one of the bands were ever going to perform. ;u;b Also, huehuehue, gotta listen to Mindcrime songs live again, mwahaha.

Finding out a song I've loved for many years is based on the same person as an Arknights character purely because they're listed right next to each other in the 'In Popular Culture' list on Wikipedia. If it wasn't already funny enough to see a gacha waifu listed underneath a bunch of prestigious-sounding books a movies, I'm losing my mind.

REALIZING MY LACK OF CONTEXT MAKES THIS SOUND WORSE THAN IT IS, BUT - the laundry room at our apartment complex caught fire while we were doing a lot of laundry. As far as I know, it was contained to just the laundry room and no tenants were affected, outside of some evacuations while the fire was going. We lost a good chunk of our clothing (unfortunately the stuff that we tended to wear the most, too, since that's what's most likely to be dirty), but: a) we're packing to move and some wardrobe pruning was in order, anyway; and b) the necessities have already been replaced through thrifting.

So, like - obviously not IDEAL, but it's alright now. Sorry if I worried you guys. TuTb

This feeling exactly is a huge part of why I've started to shift into more of a manga reader than an anime watcher. 😔 Though when you set your expectations really low, it does make it pleasantly surprising when the adaptation does turn out to exist and be pretty darn good. And if not - well, you still have an excellent manga to always go back to!
