Update on kittens, they had massive infections that we finally got treated but one will be blind and the other will lose his eye- though the last one they think just has an ulcer so he'll be a bit odd on one side. So they have to have monitored playtime cause they have this thing where they don't understand how breaking works.

Pitter patter of feet then a thump when they run into the wall for the upteenth time.

They're completely asleep outside so I put them down for their nap with some food and as soon as I close the door, it's time to *scream*.

Children, no.

Be the cryptid that you wish future generations to spread rumors about. I believe in you there. I have hope.

Considering my neighbor's kid in middle school has spread rumors that I'm part of a CIA-cat-obsessed ring and when I was sick and homebound my mom made half the small-town people in the grocery store believe I was in jail because I tried to hack the FBI, I feel like I'm getting there.

One of my baby girls is jealous that the other kittens got to be held and cuddled until she realized they were getting a bath.

The kittens are at the stage where they must 'pap pap' with their paws to explore the world.

I GOT HER. \o/ FINALLY.

For context, we've had this one cat. Her name is Eris. She has gotten out of multiple traps from multiple homes who have wanted to help catch her. She's always having kittens - we've adopted two (Ruger and Colt to be specific) and gotten others adopted out (The candy quartet- Dot, Pixy, Hershey, and KitKat and several others we left up to their new owners to name) - and she just continued no matter what we did. We've trap-neutered-returned over like 35+ cats and she continued to just escape.

But, today, she brought me gifts. In the form of two black kittens and a bright orange one.

I baited the trap with her children and she *refused* - so I shoved food and the kids and she went into the crate and she's now trapped. Four years, this saga is close to ending. We're naming these three after magic since husband gets to pick and I dread. I dread.
