Right before I left for the hospital, exactly as the clock hit 3am, they all had the zoomies and 5 cats, two lightweights, one medium weight, one fatso, and one big boned boy - all just started leaping over each other like a ridiculous 20 car pile up and I'm afraid to move. I don't even know why anymore why they do as they do - but I did learn (purely anecdotal evidence of course, but I have had over 200 fosters, so I gotta use it somewhere) that when cats grew up side by side or have a decent bond they must zoom together like meth heads.

It's not always like that- one of my orange girls and torties zoom back and forth in the morning around 8am on the dial, but they're super close? I had like a five litter who would always lay the same way and zoom at the same time and it was like the dude with pizza walking into everything in chaos for a good 20 minutes.
