+ Following the last one, I was under the assumption that because California was a few hours behind us, they could time travel. As a child, I was very distraught that they did nothing to stop 9/11.

The same co-worker that told me to man up about my cancer got caught stealing 200 dollars worth of stuff for from the store. I got to watch her get arrested for it today.

Feels good man.

For me, writing fanfiction and rping go hand-in-hand with one another.

Back in the day (like, middle school) I attempted writing fanfic after some loose rping on neopets. It sucked. I sucked. I wasn't good at writing, at all. It wouldn't be until a few years later that I found my first actual invisionfree board and started rping on a higher level that I finally gained the confidence again to write fanfic. And since then, it's only exploded from there. Fanfic has helped me write longer posts, add in narration and world building. Meanwhile, roleplay allowed me to write better, more fleshed out characters, and how to write dialogue!

I guess the second closest hobby would have been wanting to learn graphic design. Still don't know jack shit, but I love opening up photoshop to just make cute little things related or for my rp's. There was a moment in time where I was like "I'm gonna become a graphic designer!!!" from how much of my life I spent making 100x100 icons and the like lmfao. Anyway I just recently switched my major for a third time to Anthropology, so you can tell how well that worked out.

  1. Was a groomsman for my bff's wedding. maybe stole the show a little with how stunningly handsome i was (and am haha). but it was just very fun to see a lot of old friends there (esp a friend and his wife who i hadnt seen since their wedding in 2020)
  2. switched my major at school, im in anthropology now! passed my classes this semester too!
  3. (re)opened my site at last. even got to re-connect with some rp friends. im so grateful for my little community <3
  4. was gifted an old gaming latop. spent my entire summer on steam playing left 4 dead lmfao. but alongside it, i have grown closer to a community server that ive been a part of now that we game at least twice a week.
  5. the AWL remake came to the rest of the world over the summer and god. oh my god. the way that game had such a grip on not just me, but also my friends. it was even more fun to just bond collectively with the group when we were all playing the same game together religiously.

  • Powerwash Simulator. The utter GRIP it had on me this last week and a bit.
  • I'm also playing through the new Pokemon dlc. Well, I'm at the end of it and just trying to fill out my pokedex.
  • Started playing Pokemon Cafe Remix again, sigh lmao
  • Was playing Rune Factory 4 Special again before all that
  • And even before that, Rune Factory 3 Special
  • At the end of the day, it's christmas time in Fallout 76 so guess what I'm gonna boot up later lol

idk lmao

nah i really dunno. the first RPs I ever did was animal rps, and then eventually transitioned to "animanga" very briefly (really more just illustrated). my first actual dedicated rp forum was mfc, back in the days where there was no real distinction between the two communities. but since my last major long term site closed down, i've switched purely to animanga. like others have said, i like the freedom and range that animanga/illustrated gives than RL does. but it's also just like... people choose FCs based on the vibe?

And less so if they're actually a fan of the FC itself. like, idk who anyone in hollywood really is outside a lot of the big name actors. i don't really watch live action TV. but i will still laugh if i see someone using the supernatural boys as FCs, or anyone from the MCU. but anyway, like it's been said, RL FCs feel a little more restricting. there are still a handful of RL FCs i have tucked away in my back pocket, for when the time finally comes but until then...

i also think animanga rp'ers are like, more willing to go with the general goofyness of the genre?? i also love the creativity of the animanga rpc, even if some specific genres or fandoms aren't to my taste, yall always seem to be having something new going on!! idk, the vibe is just overall better on the forum animanga rpc to me. so that's why i stay.
