i'm still on season 1, epsiode 1 of cowboy bebop. but even though i'm barely able to find time to continue watching? this show is just really frickin' good b/c i've seen the movie before, and i'd love to see someone actually make this. give me the life of a bounty hunter, or criminal, pls.

light - So the movie was the first thing I watched - probably circa 2005 or so, when I first got into anime and made my way backwards toward the show. I think it will just overall be a really fun concept to play with. Criminals, Bounty Hunters, Hackers, Cops in a SCI-FI setting on different planets? Kinda reminds me of space pirates / cowboys and I am really digging that idea. I also have a thing for tech heavy based sites so I think I am really going to do it. It is nice to know that someone is interested in the concept

i think that's the one i watched, too! lmfao, and i agree! it's really refreshing, and i'm honestly in support of someone making a site that's deviating from the shounen/superhero genre and pokemon genre! it's a fun idea, plot-heavy, and a refreshing thing to see being made, so it'd be interesting to watch this grow!

Well this is bringing up memories of days when Bebop RPs were more common place. I would love for an RP to be made just to see a classic get another go in the RP community. The Criminal vs. Bounty Hunter mechanic sounds interesting but I hope you have some rules thought up for it to make it work because what I'm currently picturing in my head based on the simplified explanation is kind of a mess. Because if you do then that would be a really solid mechanic.

sly - Yup I have some systems in the works so that it isn't an all out rumble all the time between criminals on the site vs. Bounty Hunters. I explained the site concept as simply put as possible - just that I want a Cowboy Bebop roleplay but I didn't go into too many details on how the systems are going to work on the site. Just looking to see if there is interest in general in the genre because - like you said - it is something more "old school" and not sure how it would work now in days but glad to see some people think it would be an interesting concept! UPDATE - I have worked this weekend on it and honestly - I think it will be done in a couple of days and at the latest - next weekend. The muse for this project was incredibly strong.
