somewhat shameless doublepost, but i didn't realize how starkly different forums were from social media until i went off of forums for a bit TTTT i always feel a way more hesitant (?) entering conversations or discussions if i don't really have something lengthily substantial to say or approach new people if i don't know them well, but maybe that's just me?
