Galantis, as alluded to from the convenient hashtags, will be an intergalactic animanga roleplay. Taking inspiration from works of Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Space Dandy, and Cyberpunk Edgerunners to name a few; it will boost a mixture of slice-of-life content as well as combat for those looking for a little spice. Characters created will first choose a faction to align themselves under and the rest is up entirely to the player. The overarching plot will be driven by the community and can be affected by all characters. The term "community-plot driven" is what Galantis will be aiming to foster and hopes to keep everyone included and involved at all times. From Space Pirates to Bounty Hunters, or even more mundane occupations such as Barrista or Bar owner; all occupations are available to created characters. A potential Neo-Noir setting is the atmosphere of the site itself but isn't something that is set in stone. Again, it would depend heavily on the activity of the community if it becomes that genre entirely.

• FACTIONS: A somewhat loose term for member groups on site, each faction will come with a modus operandi of sorts. A description of said M.O. will be given and characters can choose which to align themselves with. It is to be noted, however, that while some factions will obviously have specific professions that fall under their umbrella, a majority of the factions shouldn't limit you in occupation choosing.

• VARIOUS RACES Human, Alien, Cyborg, or Android, you have the ability to create your own race as well as provide lore for them if you so choose. (Note: Races must fall in line with the plot and atmosphere of the site itself. Other than that, you're free to create to your heart's content)

• SLICE-OF-LIFE For those looking for a more chill Rp experience, you have the option to completely forgo the combat aspect of the site and simply create a character and go forth. Enjoy zipping through the galaxy to leisure without the worry of the intergalactic officials hunting you down or adversely, being hunted down by said officials.

• COMBAT + SYSTEM For those looking to take on both aspects of Galantis, combat is offered and will come with an accompanying system. The system will be in place for the occasional modded threads and for those who want a concrete margin for judging battle among each other in PVP threading. However, outside of modded threads, you are not obligated to follow the combat system. (Note: in the case of PVP threads, if an outcome cannot be decided upon by the participants, the system of combat will be put into place).

• EVENTS + MISSIONS Events will be called "sessions" as a nod to Cowboy Bebop, and continuing onward with the notion can exist as completely different plot points upon dropping. What this means is a session can have its own beginning and conclusion that may or may not pertain to the site's overarching storyline. And adversely, there may be sessions that do add to the lore of the overarching story. Missions will work in the same vain. The "Galactic Bulletin Board" (name pending) will be the location of missions available to be done by characters (both combat and non-combat) to earn on-site currency to purchase items from the site store.

• REPUTATION / BOUNTY SYSTEM As well as earning on-site currency, missions can net characters' reputation points that may increase their bounty in certain factions. Certain sessions (events) will require a base reputation for joining. There will also be specific positions and occupations that characters can obtain that will also require a certain reputation to obtain. Threads done can be submitted to earn rep points and may potentially be reported on ICly by the Galatic News Network (name pending) adding notoriety to characters and story elements to the site in the process.

• AWARDS + BADGES Certain achievements will net characters awards and badges that come with perks. Extra currency for obtaining them or perhaps bonus reputation points

In posting this interest check I'm gauging to see a.) if this is something the community would be interested in and b.) what are other features you feel that upon being implemented would add to the enjoyment of the site. My hopes are to create and foster a site of longevity, creativity, and general enjoyment. There will be no immediate urgency as Galantis will foster a laid-back environment.
