Long ago, the four Clans of wild cats known as warriors lived in constant competition with one another, and eventually drove each other to extinction on one bloody, moonlit night. They soon faded into the stuff of legends, with few cats putting stock in the tall tales and many details being lost to time. Some ambitious souls, however, have chosen to undertake the grand task of returning the Clans to their former glory.

So far, a small group of cats led by a she-cat named Shellspots has formed by the river, claiming to be the new RiverClan. However, unrest grows within the group as tensions rise. Unseen forces are moving in the forest, and with the arrival of a prophecy from StarClan, the future of the Clans hangs in the balance.

“Find the stone that gleams and shines, the one that sits beneath the mines. Stars that die and stars that fall, they gather here and sing their call. Find the cats who number four and from the ashes Clans arise once more.”

The Clan Renaissance is a play by post roleplay forum based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, with an overall goal of providing a realistic experience while still allowing for creative and entertaining storytelling. It takes place in the forest territories, and is a complete alternate universe from the books.
