now this was a map i actually put effort in. was made for a panfandom site i was working on years back. made again with wonderdraft. click for full size



the setting is inspired/based on philippine climate so the area is very green due to the rainy seasons. travel between resorts are usually by boats. travelling on foot can take the entire day (just like how our asian parents went to school back in those days!). its prominent features are the two lakes and the mountain. the resorts are named after common household plants in the philippines that are said to bring good luck, but directly translated to english.

the resort idea is similar to baranggays in philippines but given the island aesthetic, resort sounded more unique and catchy. there was that horror game with giant people too that called areas "resorts" and i thought that was cool too.

this map is also part of a bigger province but it's covered in fog due to plot reasons. so the continuing shape you see on the right was done on purpose to reveal the rest of the province
