- pokemon shifters/anthros/gijinka, the idea is that this is an alternate universe where pokemon and humans merged souls and now aren't different at all
- set in Roaring 20s Unova

- characters will have powers, likely limited by what moves their base pokemon can learn. possibly a system for learning TM/HM moves. We'll see.
- characters will have one species, but can have "hybrid traits" like those variations that trended for a while. shiny variations also unlimited.
- other than legends, no limits on pokemon species. I don't care if we end up with 3000 eevee gijinka.
- as for gender-limited pokemon, it's allowed but I will be monitoring for Weird Fetishistic Shit. like idc if your Gallade gijinka is a trans woman if you're not fuckin weird about it.

if anyone wants to really help me hammer out a system, let me know. I really want a site based around designing really cool characters but isn't an animal RP, if that makes sense.

this is going to sound so stupid but really what i need right now is a kind of silly chill rp experience so what im thinking is either (assuming i can find a skin that doesn't make me want to die or code something myself without spending 8 years on it or find a coder (but i am poor so probably the first two)

panfandom entertainment industry / celeb site (potentially also allowing ocs? who cares honestly) or
a silly little modern au (or just au?) genshin site which allows ocs and probably a more lighthearted tone than the source material or
panfandom site that is not isekai type situation? ie, characters just would've always existed in the site's world.

for all of above : short app. lax rules. im tired.

workshopping both ideas so if anyone cares to give input / ideas / feedback i am all ears, i just need a project to work on but something heavy and serious is really just not sounding appealing to me rn

Casually dropping support for the non-isekai panfandom because adapting canon characters to a setting as if they've always been there is my favorite pastime!

an eastern asian science fantasy site? never seen anything like that before...something like dune where its diff planets with some magic/supernatural elements but more based off east asian lore and vibes rather then western.

Warrior cats roleplay but Starclan gets progressively more sinister, set after the clans first move to the lake, the premise is when Starclan came back to the lake they just came back a little bit off. So IDK...Warrior Cats meets light cosmic horror?

panfandom entertainment industry / celeb site which also allows ocs. potential for claim sharing if people are chill enough with that, no isekai aspect — would be just adapting panfandom characters to the setting of the site as whatever you think would be fun! will probably have a fun setting or other aspects to it to make it silly goofy and generally just a good time for all. very relaxed site mechanics too when it comes to how things work industry wise.

a silly little modern au (or just au) genshin site which allows ocs and probably a more lighthearted tone than the source material. no traveler. if modern aspects of the game would be adapted to more of a slice of life / modern fantasy type vibe and if just au it would just be very chill and kind of sandbox-y. would allow ocs of course and probably pretty chill with character creation.

run of the mill otherworld setting panfandom site that is not isekai based. ie, characters just would've always existed in the site's world. similar to the first panfandom idea above but would not be celebrity focused. would have different cities / areas like most panfandom sites to allow for different “genres” as a setting. would still most likely allow ocs and potentially face sharing if people are cool, to allow for the most freedom.

So back in ye olden days of D&D, there was this campaign setting known as Ravenloft: Realm of Terror. Basically the premise is that your D&D characters get isekai’d into a Gothic horror world and the primary goal is to get out. You might be more familiar with the modern 5e module Curse of Strahd, which adapts the original Ravenloft campaign to said setting.

And I was wondering…would there be any interest in something like that, except with OCs from different universes instead of just D&D characters? I don’t know, it might be too niche an interest for most people, but I’m hoping that I can get some takers at least.

still desperate to see a panfan that takes an approach on the whole, like, congrats! you died and got reincarnated into a new and modern world. congrats! all your friends and enemies died and were also reincarnated into that same new and modern world. you have no memories of your past life, but can uncover them (and your former abilities) by progression in the story. perhaps points to purchase memory slots?
i posted this in sites you want to see, but im genuinely curious to see how many people are interested in the idea? if you have any ideas/would like to see this happen/support it in general, feel free to like this post. if it gets enough traction, i'll write up some more lore and search for people to help! if it happens it will be extremely lowkey, low stress, and over all a thing everyone can come to when the going gets tough.
