I have this idea for a sort of post-apoc rp that is sci-fantasy, so that way there's mostly messed up wilderness and ruins and then most of society exists in powerful cities or nomadic groups that have the power to keep themselves defended from the threats of the world. The idea would be to start with only a few of these cities/factions to allow better exploration of the setting and sub-factions within it. Also for it to sort of be a mix of genres/themes/aesthetics to allow people to rp alot of character types.

From the leader of a city mafia to a bog witch, to a worthwhile crafter who makes tools of legend. An rp for both people who wanna do cool combat stuff or slice-of-life stuff, mystery stuff or so on. Any can impact the plot, but most importantly would just be about having fun and making interesting stories.

  Been thinking about this still, looked at some failed sites, got an idea for a story that would allow for the multiple factions to partake, while also separating itself from the canon story in such a way to allow standout ocs. I call this possible project. From Whence the Blood flows. The idea would be that a world taken over by khornite berserker and Orks has truly become a battle heaven, and is going around pulling in people from all sides, but there's a terrible time loop on the planet making the slaughter endless as people on all sides deal with the mystery of this planet and the whims and plans of the factions stuck on this endless war planet.

Maybe to encourage some site plot that shows creativity a new founding could've been made to deal with this planet as a crusade as it moves around affecting solar systems and such. (Death would still be apart of site story I imagine but I love the idea of an endless war planet where you could basically do all the pvp and pve you want, but willing to alter the plot with feedback

am I the only person out there who thinks a Warhammer 40k RP could be cool, I've never seen one anywhere, it doesn't have to be in the canon setting and could be in one of the alternate universes, I just think it could be a great setting for a large variety of characters, have multiple ideas for what the site story about or the setting but looking to see if anyone might be interested

Got a real good idea for this, might be putting out a larger interest check soon/get a discord going for beta testing and staff

I don't know if anyone here watches Dimension 20 but Ive always loved them and I've been loving a court of fey and flowers, inspired by that how about an rp set in a world of fae, yokai, and other such creatures that deal with not only long lifespans but a life of shifting dynamics as they try to bring themselves into a higher social standing. There'd be traditional rp elements where people could battle if they want but there'd also be a focus on the political, cultural, or ect fields of life.

Long story short: Rp about court/nation politics between spiritual races with focus on raising position in society in multiple ways (With fun stuff like Archfey, Daiyokai, champions, or ect)

If there's any interest in this rp which would have esthetics from druidic gaelic, feudal japan, and even more as the world gets built I can come up with a bigger interest check with more lore. (Also looking for people to work with if anyone wants to be apart of it in any way)

I was working with them on the idea originally but we split up due to differences in vision. I am still working on my own project at the moment so if you're interested I can still let you know what I've got

Hey everyone, back at again with an interest check for three site ideas, just wanna see which one is more worth investing time and energy too. 1. Sci-fi fantasy site inspired by a mix of cyber-punk and monster hunter with a focus on letting people have fun playstyles, and enjoying a beautiful environment in the forms of nature and urban life with a focus around a hub-city with various groups of interest that have to deal with the powerful monsters that live outside of their walls.

2. A high fantasy world that has undergone all its great wars and has not reached the equivalent of the modern era, with magic and tech co-existing. The setting would focus on an artificial island that has become a sort of international zone, it would focus on the politics and groups that live there.

3. A post-apocalyptic fantasy world of sorts where people suddenly get powers that affect not only them but also items of significance to them. Would start off focused on one settlement and the survivors of the event and would slowly introduce more of the world around it. Inspired by things like Dislyte and Valorant.

Unrelated to my previous post, but a dislyte site anyone? Been playing the hell out of the game and I think an rp set in their world would be cool

I've had a similar idea I've been working on if you wanna share ideas and go over what we both got, see if they can co-exist or ect

I've been working on various site ideas for years, some worked for a little bit and some never made it off the ground. I've thought about making a site with elements loved from all my ideas and have a site idea I wanted to share. I'm looking for people to help staff it, and also looking to get a custom skin done. I've been reading a lot of lore lately from various things such as Elden Ring, Warhammer (Both 40k and Fantasy), lord of the rings, dune, and thinking about what I know from other stories and movies I've seen to inspire the direction.

But not to belabor the point, but the idea for the site is to be a Sci-Fi Fantasy, with a story focused around what would happen if magic were real and kept itself hidden until the right time to come to the forefront. (Whether due to mages being weaker for so long, or lost techniques or so on) However, this time doesn't happen in the modern era, it happens in the future when Mankind takes to the stars, and after colonizing their solar system the first of the magic users (or magic races, not sure if it should just be humans or have multiple races from each life-bearing planet) would reveal themselves and would turn Pluto into this fortified Magic-Tech world which would become the basis for Faster-Than-light travel which might be done using something fun called "hex-gates" or another term possibly.

So fast forward a few thousand years, humanity and the magic users colonize the galaxy, but bam some dark age event happens and the connection is cut for a long period. Due to the extreme stress of their new planets plus the use of technology and magic would result in not only cultural divergences but on some planets also resulting in the humans or other races adapting into new sub-species or entirely new ones altogether.

Now finally with someone figuring out what caused the dark age of the milky-way humanity, the magic users, and the aliens are open up to the world again. However, there is no more organization to facilitate the diplomacy between all these newly developed groups who don't have the same sense of camaraderie they once did.

The story would start I imagine within the first few years since the beginning of this renaissance, with a council being put together to try and figure out what to do in the state of the galaxy.

So yeah, if anyone is interested in this idea about a sci-fi fantasy set in our galaxy about what if magic colonization that could blend elements such as witches, super-soldiers, mechas, political intrigue, deeply personal plots, and plenty of room for story growth just let me know, especially if you're interested in help developing this from either a mechanical, creative, or moderative aspect.
