so it goes.
Rewatching the Alien movies and I really want to work on my sci Fi horror/survival again... It's just so much work because I have twists and turns planned and arranging things in a cohesive, story-like plot is something I need to work on lol

- Class choices - Keyblade Notice/Apprentice/Master, Magician, Defender, Blade Specialist, etc.

- Random world pop-ups, disappearances, etc as events.

I've been craving a good scifi/space horror or scifi survival thing for an age. I've even started work on one a number of times, but never get very far. So I'm cheering you on so I don't have to do it haha

dawntrail didn't help my need for a vrmmorpg site, so i've been slowly building one...

main inspirations include ffxiv, wow (thanks to my friends who stream it), dungeon meshi, and the array of mmo anime i binged watched at some point months ago. create your own class, species, and abilities. probs freeform combat bc i'll weep if i have to make stats for enemies. run your own shop, take on all the jobs you can handle, go on grand adventures, and/or become the npc you always wanted to be. what can go wrong? 💀

There was an interesting one years ago that I vaguely remember. It was essentially a take on Western vs Eastern mythos. I believe the Moon Kingdom was inspired by medieval Europe and ancient Greece - and their opposition was inspired by various ancient Asian cultures.

It was a pretty fun take on the series - one I was kind of shocked I'd never seen before.

i remember this! it was a looong time ago, but it was definately a unique take on the series

i've got a craving for pokemon rp mixed with the horrors of dungeon diving — liken it to mystery dungeon but with the pokemon trainers and leaning more on horror than the light-heartedness of pmd :thonk: i just love horror and pokemon man

they pull the axe out your face and say "was it the boogeyman?"
possible ideas:
- urban fantasy but set in the distant past or future
- sci-fi fantasy horror nonsense, something akin to like dune and the hyperion cantos
- zambies. i just love a good zombie or apoc site in general tbh
- urban fantasy inspired by the highlander series- where everyone is immortal and have been thrown into this shitbox city to fight each other to the death
- multimedia panfan aboard an old derelict space station that seems to be alive
- panfandom based on/inspired by borderlands
- elder scrolls inspired fantasy
- warriors, but if it was also GoT flavored
